Abstract We present the first analysis of Cepheid stars observed by TESS space mission in Sectors 1–5. Our sample consists 25 pulsators: ten fundamental mode, three overtone and two double-mode classical Cepheids, plus type II seven anomalous Cepheids. The targets were chosen from fields with different stellar densities, both Galactic field Magellanic System. Three have 2 minutes cadence light curves available Science Processing Operations Center: for rest, we prepared custom full-frame...

Abstract The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) space telescope is collecting continuous, high-precision optical photometry of stars throughout the sky, including thousands RR Lyrae stars. In this paper, we present results for an initial sample 118 nearby observed in TESS Sectors 1 and 2. We use differential image to generate light curves analyze their mode content modulation properties. combine accurate light-curve parameters from with parallax color information Gaia mission...

The \textit{Kepler} space telescope observed thousands of RR Lyrae stars in the K2 mission. In this paper we present our photometric solutions using extended apertures order to conserve flux highest possible extent. With method are able avoid most problems that light curves produced by other pipelines suffer from. For post-processing apply K2SC pipeline curves. We provide EAP (Extended Aperture Photometry) 432 campaigns 3, 4, 5, and 6. also subclass classifications based on Fourier...

Abstract Proper photometric data are challenging to obtain in the K2 mission of Kepler space telescope due strong systematics caused by two-wheel-mode operation. It is especially true for variable stars wherein physical phenomena occur on timescales similar instrumental signals. We originally developed a method with aim extend aperture be able compensate motion which we named Extended Aperture Photometry (EAP). Here present outline automatized version EAP method, an open-source pipeline...

We present a detector apparatus, DireXeno (DIRectinal Xenon), designed to measure the spatial and temporal properties of scintillation in liquid xenon very high accuracy. The are primary importance for dark matter neutrinoless double beta decay experiments, however complicated microphysics involved limits theoretical predictions. will explore possibility that emission exhibits correlation light such as super-radiance, which depends on type interaction. Such may open new window background...
