Abstract Holocene variations in precipitation central and eastern arid Asia (ACA) have been widely investigated, but the pattern western ACA remains unclear. We present records of stable carbon isotope composition bulk organic matter (δ 13 C org ), magnetic parameters, sediment color, from five loess‐paleosol sequences NE Iran, ACA, with aim reconstructing precipitation. The Yellibadragh (YE) section (the thickest among sequences) was selected for optically stimulated luminescence (OSL)...

As Beryllium is an important element in primary nucleosynthesis, its nuclear reaction cross-sections induced by charged projectiles need to be measured precisely. The astrophysical S(Ei) factors were the ultra-low energy range from Elab=18 100 keV 2-keV increments (42 points). Both S(E) curve (Sbare(0)=16.2±1.8MeVb) and screening (Us=545±98eV) deduced. In regard applications of Sbare(E) curve, present results are consistent with Zahnow's direct measurement. For long-standing problem...

The deuterium depth distribution for a , while beam implanted into ytterbium (Yb) at temperature between 300 and 340 K was studied using the D(d,p)T reaction. By analyzing proton yields, from front surface to 500 nm found. results indicate that an equilibrium region approximately equal mean range of deuterons formed in Yb during implantation. deduced concentration D/Yb = 22%.

An electrodeposited thorium target and a ThO2 sample were irradiated together with fast neutrons using the Chinese Fast Burst Reactor II. The activities of 233Pa in both samples measured compared to determine mass 232Th deposited on target. Experimental results showed that was 19.6 μg, uncertainty estimated be 1.4%.

The 239Pu fission chambers are widely used to measure spectrum neutron flux due a flat response fast neutrons. However, in the meantime resonance and thermal neutrons can cause significant influence on measurement if they moderated, which could be eliminated by using 10B Cd covers. At column enriched uranium critical assembly, reaction rates of measured as 1.791×10−16, 2.350×10−16 1.385×10−15 per second for 15 mm thick cover, 0.5 no cover respectively, while rate is rapidly increased...

Chemical combination flooding (CCF) is a greatly-enhanced-oil-recovery technique, which developed on the basis of single chemical such as polymer flooding, surfactant alkali flooding. The main types include AS, AP, SP and ASP. mechanism CCF to make full use different functions synergy effect various chemicals. Not only can it expand macro swept volume by increasing viscosity injection system, but also improve micro displacement efficiency reducing interfacial tension between oil water. Thus...

There was no quantitative screening criterion or scoring method for polymer flooding. Each parameter in most criterions flooding only had a boundary value qualitative evaluation. The paper collected ten of the world. It also analyzed key parameters and main influence factors drew factor distribution pattern according to percentage function this paper. Based on pattern, established new developed screening. result 6 reservoirs evaluated by shows an order higher score indicates better EOR...
