Abstract Al self‐corrosion in alkaline electrolytes is a critical issue that restricts the practical application of Al‐air batteries. To inhibit self‐corrosion, hybrid nonionic surfactant (branched alkyl glycoside, abbreviated as BAG) and ZnO developed.
