By employing N-dimensional multiplexing and modulation, i.e. 5.8-Gaud Nyquist 32-QAM signals over pol-muxed 52 orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes (104 channels in total), we experimentally demonstrate a free-space data link with an aggregate ultra-high spectral efficiency of 435 bit/s/Hz.

The stochastic thermodynamics of systems with a few degrees freedom has been studied extensively so far. We would like to extend the study more and even further-continuous fields infinite freedom. simplest case for continuous field is Edwards-Wilkinson elastic manifold. It an exactly solvable model which heat statistics in relaxation process can be calculated analytically. cumulants require cutoff spacing avoid ultraviolet divergence. scaling behavior time system size as well large deviation...

Nano-crystalline diamond films are successfully deposited on silicon substrates via the hot filament chemical vapour deposition process using a CH4/H2/Ar gas mixture. The as-grown analysed by field emission scanning electron microscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction. These results show that consist of nano-diamond grains with sizes ranging from 10 to 100 nm, argon is an important element in formation nano-crystalline diamonds.

We apply tensor networks to counting statistics for the stochastic particle transport in an out-of-equilibrium diffusive system. This system is composed of a one-dimensional channel contact with two reservoirs at ends. Two tensor-network algorithms, namely, Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) and Time Evolving Block Decimation (TEBD), are respectively implemented. The cumulant generating function current numerically calculated then compared analytical solution. Excellent agreement...

This work reports a harmonic-rejection scheme based on the combination of Si(111) monochromator and Si(220) crystal optics. approach is importance to wide range X-ray applications in all three major branches modern science (scattering, spectroscopy, imaging) at facilities, especially relevant capabilities offered by new diffraction-limited storage rings. It was demonstrated both theoretically experimentally that, when used with synchrotron undulator source over broad energies interest,...

The current fluctuation in one-dimensional driven diffusive systems is reported to have a upper bound that set by its mean value together with the driving force. resulting inequality arises from interactions between particles, and approached near-equilibrium or far-from-equilibrium weak particles. Three of increasing physical complexity are used illustrate how arrived at. first system consists only two reservoirs particles randomly exchange them at constant rates. For this system, shown be...

Epitaxial diamond films on non-mirror polished silicon substrate was achieved using hot filament chemical vapor deposition method with one flat horizontal filament. The orientation relationship of epitaxial has been investigated by cross-sectional high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. We found excellent configuration and according to the experimental result we suggest a corresponding model. lattice misfit is only 0.1-2.8% related our model analysis 60° type interface dislocation...

We analytically calculate the cumulant generating function of energy and particle transport in an open one-dimensional Kitaev chain at finite temperature by utilizing Keldysh technique. The joint distribution currents satisfies different fluctuation relations regions parameter space as a result U(1) symmetry breaking conservation. Furthermore, we investigate linear response behavior within framework three-terminal systems, deriving expressions for Seebeck coefficient thermal conductance....
