Semiconductor nanoribbons of ZnS have been synthesized on a large scale via hydrogen‐assisted thermal evaporation. The product is characterized by means electron microscopy and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, which show that the as‐prepared are single crystals with uniform morphology. A stable strong emission band centered at 534.5 nm also associated nanoribbons.

Abstract The synthesis, structures, photophysics, electrochemistry and electrophosphorescent properties of new red phosphorescent cyclometalated iridium(III) isoquinoline complexes, bearing 9‐arylcarbazolyl chromophores, are reported. functional these phosphors correlate well with the results density theory calculations. highest occupied molecular orbital levels complexes raised by integration a carbazole unit to iridium core so that hole‐transporting ability is improved in resulting...

It is a highly expected avenue to construct dual-carbon sodium-ion hybrid capacitors (SIHCs) using hierarchical porous carbon with interconnected pores, high accessible surface area, and disordered frameworks for ameliorating the sluggish kinetics of SIHCs. In this work, novel SIHCs system homologous enhanced hollow spheres (HPCS) bowls (HPCB) as anode cathode constructed first time. Na half-cell configuration, HPCS synthesized through facile one-pot in-situ template route demonstrates...

Due to the unreasonable configuration of porous structure and heteroatoms, heteroatom-doped hierarchical carbon employed in supercapacitors generally demonstrates an imbalance durability rate performance. Herein, we have exploited a mild sustainable one-step activation route with KMnO4 as activator synthesize nitrogen/oxygen dual-doped (MHPC) quasi-ordered mesopores. The evolution mode detailed mechanism been verified by operando XRD characterization. three-electrode measurements reveal that...

BackgroundWhite syndrome, a term for scleractinian coral disease with progressive tissue loss, is known to cause depressed growth and increased morality of reefs in the major oceans around world, occurrence this has been frequently reported past few decades. Investigations during April September both 2010 2011 identified widespread Porites andrewsi White syndrome (PAWS) Xisha Archipelago, South China Sea. However, causes etiology PAWS have unknown. Methodology/Principal FindingsA...

Transition-metal selenides (TMSe) incorporate reversible multielectron Faradaic reactions that can deliver high specific capacitance. Unfortunately, they usually exhibit actual capacitance lower than their theoretical value and suffer from sluggish kinetics, which do not satisfy the demands of hybrid supercapacitors (HSCs), due to poor electron-transmission capability inferior ion-transport rate. Herein, a kind hollow biphase bimetal cobalt nickel perselenide composed metastable...

A four-week feeding trial, followed by a challenge test, was conducted to evaluate the effects of Lactococcus lactis and astaxanthin on growth performance, digestive ability, antioxidant capacity, immunity, disease resistance Litopenaeus vannamei against Vibrio alginolyticus. Specifically, shrimp were randomly allocated into 12 tanks (100 per tank), divided 4 groups with 3 replicates. Shrimp fed either control (CK) or three other treatment diets supplementing L. at 1 × 108 CFU g−1 diet (L),...

Optical frequency division relies on optical combs to coherently translate ultra-stable references the microwave domain. This technology has enabled synthesis with ultralow timing noise, but required instruments are too bulky for real-world applications. Here, we develop a compact system using microresonator-based and comb generators. The soliton microcomb formed in an integrated Si$_3$N$_4$ microresonator is stabilized two lasers referenced ultrahigh-$Q$ MgF$_2$ microresonator....

Aquaculture is suffering from long-term water eutrophication in intensive models, whereas the knowledge of multi-strain/specie for improving quality extremely limited. Herein, we aimed to develop multi-strain tropical Bacillus spp. as a potential probiotic biocontrol agent large-scale enhancement mariculture quality. Given practical application, optimum (B. flexus QG-3, B. NS-4, and licheniformis XCG-6 with proportion 5: 4) was screened obtained, which effectively improved by removing...
