Palm kernel shell and coconut are used as a precursor for the production of activated carbon, way mitigating tons waste produced in Ghana. The raw were chemically using H3PO4. A maximum carbon yield 26.3 g was obtained 22.9 at 400oC, an impregnation ratio 1.2 1-hour carbonization time. Scanning electron microscopy reveals well-developed cavities H3PO4 compared to non-activated carbon. Iodine number 743.02 mg/g 682.11 mg/g, porosity 0.31 0.49 electrical conductivity 2010 μS/cm 778 μS /cm AC...

A comparative analysis study of pH and temperature effects on the anaerobic digestion process different agricultural wastes was carried out during production biogas. The investigation in two phases. Phase one involved use a single substrate cow dung, cassava peels, yam peels pineapple while second co-digestion substrates with dung. composition gas produced by mixture these were determined. feedstock for each experiment 1:1 water. For co-digestion, part dung used parts water, making ratio...
