Tb(3+)-doped CaMoO(4) (Tb(3+) = 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 20 atom%) core core-shell nanoparticles have been prepared by urea hydrolysis in ethylene glycol (EG) as capping agent well reaction medium at low temperature ~150 °C. As-prepared samples were annealed 500 900 °C for 4 h to eliminate unwanted hydrocarbons and/or H(2)O present the sample improve crystallinity. The synthesised nanophosphors show tetragonal phase structure. crystallite size of as-prepared is found be ~18 nm. luminescence...
Sol-gel derived nanostructured cerium oxide (CeO2) film deposited on gold (Au) electrode has been utilized for physisorption of glucose oxidase (GOx). X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, and electrochemical techniques have used to characterize sol-gel CeO2∕Au GOx∕CeO2∕Au bioelectrode. The response characteristics the bioelectrode (GOx∕CeO2∕Au) indicate linearity, detection limit shelf-life as 50–400mg∕dL, 12.0μM, 12weeks, respectively. value apparent...
We have studied the luminescence property of CaMoO4:Eu3+. The emission peaks at 590 (5D0→7F1) and 613 nm (5D0→7F2) for Eu3+ are observed after excitation 266 (i.e. Mo–O charge transfer band). peak intensity latter dominates over former indicating an asymmetric environment in EuO8 polyhedron or parity mixing. Luminescence increases significantly with co-doping Gd3+. This is ascribed to energy from Mo–O/Gd3+ Eu3+. annealing up 900 °C due extent decrease non-radiative rates. Very high values...
Y2Ti2O7 (YTO) and Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped (EYYTO) phosphors have been prepared by solid-state reaction method. Structures of YTO EYYTO are identified as face centered cubic pyrochlores. Up-conversion emission spectra under 976 nm excitation is studied, which revealed three prominent lines at ∼524, 548 661 originating from 2H11/2 → 4I15/2, 4S3/2 4I15/2 4F9/2 electronic transitions Er3+ ion, respectively in green red regions. The power dependence study suggests that these bands arise due to two...
Well aligned ZnO nanorods have been prepared by a low temperature aqueous chemical growth method, using biocomposite seed layer of nanoparticles in starch and cellulose bio polymers. The effect different concentrations on the alignment has investigated. grown gold-coated glass substrate characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD) field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) techniques. These techniques shown that are well perpendicular to substrate, with high density uniformity substrate....
Abstract A series of La 1-x Ce x CoO 3 perovskite nanoparticles with rhombohedral phases was synthesized via sol–gel chemical process. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Diffraction Spectroscopy (EDS), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), UV–Vis spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared spectra (FTIR), Nitrogen Adsorption/desorption Isotherm, Temperature Program Reduction/Oxidation (TPR/TPO), Photoelectron (XPS) techniques were utilized to examine the phase purity...
