We present a method that generates passive-guaranteed stable simulations of analog audio circuits from electronic schematics for real-time issues. On one hand, this is based on continuous-time power-balanced state-space representation structured into its energy-storing parts, dissipative and external sources. the other numerical scheme especially designed to preserve structure power balance. These structures define class port-Hamiltonian systems. The derivation system associated with circuit...

Abstract A reduced-order model (ROM) based on proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) is proposed to solve fastly the strongly nonlinear elementary cell problem derived from periodic homogenization of Nernst-Planck-Poisson-Boltzmann equations. In previous works, multiscale models have been developed, in order take separately into account macro- and microscopical aspects ionic diffusion, under assumption that porous medium consists repetition a single microscopic representative volume (REV)....

Abstract An extension of the well‐known Neville–Aitken's algorithm for interpolation on Grassmann manifold in framework parametric model order reduction is presented. Interpolation points are subspaces spanned by bases obtained Proper Orthogonal Decomposition available solutions associated with chosen parameter sampling. The performed recursively via geodesic barycenter two points. Three CFD applications presented: (i) Von Karman vortex shedding street, (ii) lid‐driven cavity inflow and...

The electrodynamic loudspeaker couples mechanical, magnetic, electric and thermodynamic phenomena. Thiele/Small (TS) model provides a low frequency approximation, combining passive linear (multiphysical or electric-equivalent) components. This is commonly used by manufacturers as reference to specify basic parameters characteristic transfer functions. paper presents more refined nonlinear models of electric, magnetic mechanical phenomena, for which fundamental properties such passivity...

In this work, we propose a generalization of the kriging interpolation procedure from Euclidean spaces to Grassmann manifolds in context model order reduction based on Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD). This relies introduction so-called geodesic experimental semi-variogram which depends solely repartition values manifold. Here, are subspaces engendered by bases obtained POD solutions associated with sampling parameters. Three CFD applications presented: (i) two-dimensional flow pas...

This paper presents a method for the passive guaranteed simulation of class finite-dimensional nonlinear port-Hamiltonian systems. combines two processes to reach both second order accuracy and explicit computations. First, we design one-step two- stage implicit numerical Port-Hamiltonian systems that preserves passivity. Second, change state is proposed yield an computation. It requires assumptions on Hamiltonian variations. The complete illustrated basic examples which these are fulfilled.

This paper investigates how precise a model should be for robust model-based NMF analysis of piano recordings. While inharmonicity is an essential feature tones from perceptual point view, its explicit inclusion in sound models not straightforward and may even damage the quality analysis. Here, we assess with transcription task, compare three different spectra dictionary: one strictly harmonic, following theoretical law, relaxed constraints. Experimental results show that both inharmonic can...
