Dirac node arc semimetal state is a new topological quantum which proposed to exist in PtSn4 (Wu et al 2016 arcs Nat. Phys. 12 667-71). We present systematic de Haas-van Alphen oscillation study on this compound. Two intriguing branches, i.e. F 1 and 2, are detected the fast Fourier transformation spectra, both of characterized possess tiny effective mass ultrahigh mobility. And 2 branch exhibits an angle-dependent nontrivial Berry phase. The features consistent with existence shed light its...
In this study, the proton is taken as an ensemble of quark-gluon Fock states. Using principle balance that every state should be balanced with all nearby states (denoted model), instead detailed any two each other probabilities finding are obtained. The model can a revised version model, which give excellent description light flavor sea asymmetry (i.e., $\bar{u}\not= \bar{d}$) without parameter. case $g\Leftrightarrow gg$ sub-processes not considered, and same results. there about 10 percent...
The flavor asymmetry of the nucleon sea, i.e., excess $d\bar{d}$ quark-antiquark pairs over $u\bar{u}$ ones in proton can be explained by several different models; therefore, it is a challenge to discriminate these models from each other. We examine this Letter three models: balance model, meson cloud and chiral quark we show that give quite predictions on sea contents other octet baryons. New experiments aimed at measuring baryons are needed for more profound understanding non-perturbative...
The absorption of photons by atoms encompasses fundamental quantum mechanical aspects, particularly the emergence randomness to account for inherent unpredictability in outcomes. We demonstrate that vacuum fluctuations can be origin this randomness. An illustrative example is a single photon two symmetrically arranged atoms. In absence mechanism introduce randomness, Schr\"odinger equation alone governs time evolution process until an entangled state emerges. This consists components: one...
Taking proton as an ensemble of quark–gluon Fock states and using the principle detailed balance, we construct a simple statistical model for parton distribution proton. The recent observed Bjorken-x dependent light flavor sea quark asymmetry d̄(x)−ū(x) can be well reproduced by Monte Carlo simulation pure effect.
We derive a Menta Carlo method to simulate kinetic equilibrium ensemble, and get the same sea-quark flavor asymmetry as linear equations in statistical model. In recent paper, we introduce spilt factors indicate quarks' or gluons' $g\rightarrow q\bar{q}(gg)$ $q\rightarrow qg$ ability. obtain almost fixed value $0.12-0.16$ which consists with experimental measurements for proton, when vary very wide range over four orders of magnitude. So, proof sea quark can be derived from statistic...
In this study, the proton is taken as an ensemble of quark-gluon Fock states. Using principle detailed balance, we find [Formula: see text], which in surprisingly agreement with experimental observation.
Several nuclei in the A ∼ 190 region have been studied following deep-inelastic reactions using a 460 MeV 82Se projectile impinging upon thick 192Os target. The GASP array (at Legnaro National Laboratory Italy) was used to measure resulting γ-decays. previously reported near-yrast structure of 191Os is extended isomer, at an energy 2640 keV. Branching ratios for ΔI = 1 and 2 transitions band measured, giving |(gK − gR)/Q0| 0.022(3) 0.024(7) from states respectively. These are consistent with...
Present status of experimental studies weak decays highly charged ions is presented. The paper closely follows the progress-report presentation given at conference. Due to limited space an emphasis exhaustive bibliography.
We study the proton and Roper resonance together with meson cloud model, by constructing a Hamiltonian matrix solving eigenvalue equation. The sea quark flavour asymmetry some properties of are thus reproduced in one scheme.
High-spin band structures in 184Au have been re-investigated using the multidetector array of GASP following 149Sm(29Si, 4nγ)184Au reaction. Four previously observed bands built on prolate configurations extended significantly up to high spins and two weakly populated are newly identified. Structure properties these briefly discussed.
We study a model of an ionic conductor having interstitial ions that jump from site to site. The is subject external electric field. According classical mechanics, the ion number density follows Boltzmann distribution. But according quantum we show distribution violated by factor 2. And violation provides mechanism explain Haven ratio observed in some experiments.
Mismatch repair is a critical step in DNA replication that occurs after base selection and proofreading, significantly increasing fidelity. However, the mechanism of mismatch recognition has not been established for any enzyme. Speculations this area mainly focus on exploiting thermodynamic equilibrium free energy. Nevertheless, non-equilibrium processes may play more significant role enhancing accuracy by utilizing adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This study aimed to investigate possibility....
