Abstract Structural health monitoring (SHM) is crucial for ensuring the safety and longevity of concrete structures. Despite widespread use piezoelectric materials like Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) monitoring, effects PZT patch size, shape, placement on sensor performance have not been thoroughly examined. This study aims to fill this gap by investigating how these factors influence sensitivity accuracy sensors in monitoring. The signal amplitude-frequency relationship variations dimensions...

An experimental study on the shear strength development of cement‐sand‐gravel (CSG) material was carried out using triaxial compression tests. The effects cementing agent content, aggregate and gradation CSG were analyzed. remarkably increased with increasing content for a given confining pressure. increase in far exceeded that content. However, stress‐strain curves changed only slightly when adjusted. Based test data, criterion is proposed as function gradation.
