Chalcogenides based non-volatile memory is a promising type of that display several advantages over the currently wide spread flash memory. This paper reviews theory, fabrication and operation two types chalcogenide memories, i.e. phase change (PCM) programmable metallization cell (PMC).
We present simulation results of the indium tin oxide (ITO) top diffraction grating using a rigorous couple wave analysis (RCWA) for GaN LEDs. study three different nano-structure patterns: cylindrical pillar grating, conical and nano-hole grating. show light transmission improvement with nano-grating designs design-charts
Hierarchical Cellular Networks (HCN) offer more efficient channel utilization and better quality of service (QoS) under the high tele-traffic condition compared to single-tier system. One important measures QoS in HCN as any system is handoff dropping rate. Although existing approaches such guard queuing can reduce forced termination probability, they also result higher new call blocking probability. The sub-rating strategy has found be an effective technique force probability while...
With the essentiality of hardware/software codesign in present and future designs, it has become more important to educate engineers this area. In paper, industry trends expectations are investigated area system-level design, as well its current status education, derive a better pedagogy for codesign.
This article aims to discuss several emerging memory technologies from an energy efficiency point of view. Three relatively new non-volatile will be reviewed: Phase Change Memory, Resistive Switching Devices and Spin Torque Transfer Random Access Memory (STT-RAM). We focus on their reading/writing power efficiency, area or scalability, information retaining endurance, as well opportunities limitations. Circuit system level considerations aiming reserve extend device lifetime also discussed.
In this paper, we investigate the properties of cycles for node representation in star graph. Cycles can be any order. The position each symbol ordinary cycle is fixed and not nested into other cycle. However, cyclic shift operations on symbols a none-ordinary are allowed number distinct paths graph determined using combinatorial analysis.
A CAD matching network synthesizer using a parametric approach of real frequency technique is designed and implemented in this paper. The we based on the direct computational (RFDT) terms its expression transducer power gain, but with improved time numerical stability because immittance function lossless equalizer modeled Brune function. This inherits all merits RFDT, hence can provide optimized solutions for both double single problems. User also has option to define topology desirable...
The Real Time Kinematics Global Positioning System (RTK-GPS) has been proved to be a feasible tool for structure health monitoring. However, there are some limitations using the traditional RTK method under long baseline conditions, and annoying ionospheric delay. To eliminate this delay, in paper we present an improved Extended Kalman Filter with Triple-Differenced Ionospheric-Free (EKF-TDIF) by introducing triple-differenced operator independent white noise. proposed is tested deformation...
