Hartnoll, Herzog, and Horowitz [Phys. Rev. Lett. 101, 031601 (2008).] discuss a holographic black hole solution which exhibits superconductorlike transition. In the superconducting phase holes show infinite DC conductivity. This gives rise to possibility of deforming solutions by turning on time independent current (supercurrent), without any electric field. type deformation does not exist for normal (nonsuperconducting) holes, due no-hair theorems. this paper we have studied such...
We show that certain classical string configurations in AdS_5 x T^{1,1} are chaotic. This answers the question of integrability on such backgrounds negative. consider a localized center winds around two circles T^{1,1}. The corresponding dynamical system is equivalent to coupled gravitational pendula and allows very intuitive understanding. find conclusive evidence chaotic behavior by systematically analyzing workings KAM theorem. also largest Lyapunov exponent positive.
Using analytic techniques developed for Hamiltonian dynamical systems we show that a certain classical string configurations in AdS_5 x X_5 with large class of Einstein spaces, is non-integrable. This answers the question integrability on such backgrounds negative. We consider localized center winds around two circles manifold X_5.
In this work we discuss the zero temperature limit of a "p-wave" holographic superconductor. The bulk description consists non-Abelian SU(2) gauge fields minimally coupled to gravity. We numerically construct solution which is gravity dual superconducting ground state superconductors. smooth soliton with horizon size and shows an emergent conformal symmetry in IR. found expected behavior. Using near analysis show that system has "hard gap" for relevant field fluctuations. At real part...
Melanoma, a globally prevalent skin cancer with over 325,000 new cases annually, necessitates comprehensive under- standing of its molecular components. This study looks at the PRAME (cutaneous melanoma-associated antigen) and BAP1 (gene controlling gene-environment interactions) proteins. Both are associated critical genomic alterations that significantly influence melanoma progression patient outcomes. is overexpressed in various cancers, especially uveal (UM), where high levels correlate...
The Eigenstate Thermalization Hypothesis (ETH) provides a way to understand how an isolated quantum mechanical system can be approximated by thermal density matrix. We find class of operators in (1+1)-$d$ conformal field theories, consisting quasi-primaries the identity module, which satisfy hypothesis only at leading order large central charge. In context subsystem ETH, this plays role deviation reduced matrices, corresponding finite energy eigenstate from its hypothesized approximation....
We do a systematic study of the phases gravity coupled to an electromagnetic field and charged scalar in flat space, with box boundary conditions. The scalar-less has previously been investigated by Braden, Brown, Whiting York (and others) before AdS/CFT we elaborate extend their results language more familiar from holography. phase diagram system is analogous that AdS black holes, but emphasize differences explain origin. Once added, show admits both boson stars as well hairy holes...
We formally extend the CFT techniques introduced in arXiv: 1505.00963, to $$ \phi \frac{2{d}_0}{d_0-2} theory d = 0 − ϵ dimensions and use it compute anomalous near 3, 4 a unified manner. also do similar analysis of O(N) model three by developing recursive combinatorial approach for OPE contractions. Our results match precisely with low loop perturbative computations. Finally, using 3-point correlators CFT, we comment on why ϕ 3 6 is qualitatively different.
