Agrivoltaic combines crop planting and electricity generation on the same land, it is considered as an opportunity to resolve competition for land use between food energy production. In addition growing crops, farmers can gain with installation of agrivoltaic systems their farmland. They this clean agricultural production or sell extra income. The Chinese government considers important strategy “Targeted Poverty Alleviation”. However, current methods provide uneven low irradiance which...

The imbalance between precipitation and water evaporation has caused crop yield reduction, drought, desertification. Furthermore, most parts of the world are short water, including China. We proposed a low-cost polymer multilayer film to reduce by only passing through several sunlight wavelengths necessary for photosynthesis. A series experiments were conducted characterize influence partial on reduction evaporation. Evaporation containers pans placed in open-air (CK), under glass shed (GS),...

Planar channel waveguides of rare-earth doped fluoride glass are demonstrated with single mode excitation and propagation losses below 3 dB/cm. The waveguide core was fabricated by Ag+–Na+ molten salt ion exchange process in a borosilicate (BGG31), Nd3+-doped ZBLAN used as cladding. A 0.45 dB signal amplification at 1.064 μm observed the 1 cm long waveguide, 0.9 is expected emission peak (1.049 μm). Modeling results show 2.5 dB/cm potential gain improvement surface flatness glass.

Photovoltaic (PV) panel has been widely used in many spectrum splitting systems. However the normally discussed only with photocurrent. In this paper, relationship between current-voltage (I-V) curve and irradiation is by combining single diode model. An explicit elementary analytical model two defined shape parameters improved three approximations second order Taylor expansion. The physical condition applied to extract at different scenarios. Considering aging effect, process of calculation...

Agricultural Photovoltaic (APV) has become more popular worldwide. Its core idea is to generate electricity and grow crops simultaneously on the same farmland. We developed two APV, Spectrum Splitting Concentrated APV (SCAPV) Even-lighting (EAPV). Our previous studies have investigated generation, enhanced growth of plants/crops, reduced water evaporation Furthermore, SCAPV EAPV examined better quality increased yield many plants, such as lettuce cucumber. Light is essential for plant growth, affecting morphology and physiology. Photovoltaic agriculture (APV) was proposed in the early 80s, but generating electricity on farm field without influencing growth of crops has been a challenge researchers. In this paper, we newly designed improved photovoltaic system which can solve problem optically. Using refraction from groove glass plates, APV provides appropriate light intensity uniform illumination. We plate by calculation simulation. To...

Abstract Surface waveguide structures in glass substrates arranged as Mach‐Zehnder interferometers allow the measurement of slightest influences on a superstrate coated one arm integrated optical device. The refractive indices substrate's, waveguide's, and superstrate's material determine characteristics modal field interferometer arms. For this reason, any influence effective index can be monitored with high sensitivity. By use wave theory light, amplitudes phase correlation interfering...
