Efficient and straightforward synthesis of fused pyridine derivatives was achieved from electron-rich amino heterocycles Knoevenagel products derived aldehyde malononitrile under aqueous media at 90 °C in the presence thiamine hydrochloride as a reusable, green catalyst. The strategy this protocol involves addition on an activated olefinic bond formed situ by condensation between aromatic active methylene compound. Michael product subsequent cyclo yielded high yield. It offers several...
Synthesis of 3-aminoimidazo-fused heterocycles via the Groebke–Blackburn–Bienaymé reaction using a universally available energy source under catalyst and solvent-free conditions.
In this research study, a new bio adsorbent has been developed by synthesis of zirconium nanoparticles using Zingiber officinale rhizome extract and its subsequent entrapment in calcium alginate-carrageenin hydro gel beads. The characterisation synthesised were carried out SEM, TEM, SAED, EDAX FT-IR. resulting Zr-alginate-carrageenin, hydrogel beads further subjected to batch sorption studies. Various physicochemical parameters such as pH, contact time, biomass doses optimised for maximum...
Reusable chitosan without any post-modification, with active –NH2 and –OH groups, was found to be a highly efficient renewable heterogeneous catalyst for the rapid convenient synthesis of 2-aminopyrimidine-5-carbonitrile derivatives from guanidines, aldehydes cyanoketones, under mild reaction conditions at 85 °C in good yields. Undoubtedly this methodology gives facile straightforward pathway construct an eco-friendly fashion.
Iron-modified biochar was prepared using woody biomass of Tectona grandis Linn f. for the removal tetracycline from an aqueous solution. The characterized by Fourier transformed infra-red spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscope, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. FTIR results showed predominant peaks that confirm alignment iron oxide on surface biochar. Similarly, iron-modified constitutes a graphite sheet-like structure with irregular projection fit XPS further provided evidence...
Abstract A one‐pot, four‐component, efficient, and facile synthesis of highly functionalized benzimidazo[2,1‐ b ][1,3]thiazines promoted by ionic liquid ([bmim]Br)/Et 3 N has been developed. The protocol involves nucleophilic addition o ‐phenylenediamine to carbon disulfide give 2‐mercaptobenzimidazole. After the activated olefinic bond a zwitterionic intermediate, which is generated reaction isocyanide with an electrophilic alkyne, subsequent cyclization gives high atom economy. was...
Arsenic is a metalloid which poses risk on water quality, severe health problem for human and serious impact environment. Occurrence of arsenic in natural environment may be due to processes or anthropogenic activities. Removal can done by many different techniques like adsorption, precipitation, flotation, ion exchange etc. Among them adsorption widely used removal heavy metals from its simplicity; also it’s cost effective. The aim the study evaluate potential nanoadsorbent removal. A...
In the present study, chitosan functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles have been synthesized. Chitosan derived from an edible mushroom, Agaricus bisporus was used during synthesis of nanoparticles. The were subjected to fluoride sorption using a batch method which subsequently showed removal efficiency 95% with maximum capacity, 58.8 mg/g. characterization carried out by SEM, EDAX, XRD and FTIR analysis respectively. EDAX suggested that oxygen, 51.83% 37.24% main constituent...
Safe drinking water is a key ingredient to sustainable life for mankind. Fluoride considered micronutrient required in minute quantity the proper functioning of bones and teeth humans. However, its higher concentration could lead toxic effects on skeletal dental health. The amount fluoride can be easily achieved through consumption vegetables, cereals, (within desirable limits). beyond limits groundwater has become major issue most states India while Rajasthan been as severely affected with...
Microwave induced, MoO2Cl2(DMF)2 catalyzed synthesis of novel dibenzodiazepine scaffolds with potential biocidal activity.
We describe herein the use of glycerol as an efficient and sustainable approach for synthesis 2-amino-1, 8-naphthyridine-3-carbonitriles 2-amino-3-quinolinecarbonitriles. The catalyst- free reactions occur straightforwardly using biodegradable non-hazardous solvent. It is a strategy to address mounting environmental concerns with current includes environmentally benign solvent, simple workup procedure, economic viability, shorter reaction time providing good excellent yield.
Strategies to address mounting environmental concerns with current approaches include an operationally simple and highly efficient one‐pot three‐component approach for the synthesis of spiro[imidazo[2,1‐b][1,3]oxazine‐7,3′‐indoline derivatives, which has been developed via Huisgen zwitter ion intermediate. The significant advantages this protocol are short reaction time, excellent yields, facile formation three new bonds in one operation from easily available starting materials.

The occurrence of a high concentration fluoride ions in drinking possess serious issues related to human health. present study aims develop potent adsorbent from the nano-zirconium prepared leaf extract Azolla pinnata. Nanoparticles were embedded into chitosan-κ-carrageenan beads and used for defluoridation an aqueous solution. was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), transmission (TEM), selected area diffraction, Fourier-transform...
Chromium contamination in water bodies poses severe risks to both the environment and human health. This research introduces an innovative solution this challenge by creating a vapor-activated carbosorbent from biodegradable household waste. The efficacy of adsorbent removing total chromium through batch methods aqueous solutions was investigated. Surface analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) exhibited porous structure, while Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)...
