To investigate the prevalence of eight common rheumatic diseases in a large Chinese population.A population-based epidemiological investigation suburb Beijing was conducted 14 642 individuals. A community-based survey carried out using screening questionnaire. Positive responders were included clinical and laboratory examination. Diagnosis based on criteria ACR or those used widely literature.A total 10 556 inhabitants interviewed. Forty-three cases RA identified with an age-adjusted 0.28%...
Prognostic risk factors were analyzed for patients with acute anterior circulation large-vessel occlusion stroke who achieved Modified Treatment in Cerebral Ischemia (mTICI) 3 grade by endovascular treatment. Acute ischemic (AIS) mTICI=3 after treatment from June 2019 to September 2024 at the Eighth Clinical College of Guangzhou University Traditional Chinese Medicine retrospectively analyzed. Data related patients' baseline data, factors, test and surgical data collected, primary endpoint...
BACKGROUND: Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) was noninferior to alteplase in minor nondisabling strokes the ARAMIS trial (Antiplatelet Versus R-tPA for Acute Mild Ischemic Stroke); however, early neurological deterioration (END) associated with vessel stenosis may benefit from DAPT. We investigated whether efficacy of DAPT greater than no large occlusion (LVO). METHODS: This study a prespecified post hoc analysis and included patients responsible examination as-treated set who were divided...
Objectives This study evaluated the feasibility, effectiveness, and safety of a biodegradable (BD) occluder for closure ventricular septal defect (VSD) in an acute canine model. Background All current available VSD occluders are permanent implants which consist metal framework synthetic fabrics. However, vivo plays role temporary bridge that facilitates ingrowth fibrous connective tissue endothelialization. The ideal may be scaffold can gradually absorbed replaced by “native” tissue. Methods...

Background
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease characterized by loss of tolerance to nuclear self-antigens, production pathogenic autoantibodies and damage multiple organs. While corticosteroids immunosuppressive agents have improved the outcome patients, there remains a significant unmet need for safe more effective treatments. Low-dose Interleukin-2 (IL-2) therapy has recently been shown treat disease.
Objectives
To assess safety efficacy low-dose...
We report a case of 22-year-old woman with known history homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. The patient was admitted to our hospital the chief complaints chest discomfort and dyspnea on exertion. Preoperative echocardiography revealed highly echogenic aortic mitral valves as well narrowed root. A surgical procedure consisting both valve replacement reconstruction intervalvular fibrous body performed.

Background
Pulmonary involvement is common in primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS). Characteristics of pulmonary function and computed tomography imaging for pSS-associated lung disease which are feasible clinic were less studied. In additon, there limited information regarding the risk factors published literature dealing with manifestations pSS.
Objectives
We described radiologic functional characteristics manifestation detected a large cohort pSS patients.
Methods
A...

Background
Pulmonary involvement is common in primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS), which seriously affects the prognosis and survival rate. However, treatment of those patients has hardly been explored before. Most studies were specifically designed to evaluate sicca features.
Objectives
To analyze efficacy safety corticosteroid therapy combined with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) or intravenous cyclophosphamide (CTX) pSS-associated lung disease.
Methods
A total 15...
