The equilibrium moisture content of horseradish ( Armoracia rusticana ) at 20°C was determined experimentally using the tensiometric method. Mathematical relationships describing sorption and desorption isotherms for relative humidity from 0 ÷ 90 % were obtained. product also analytically higher temperatures - 40°C, 60°C 80°C, Pass-Slepchenko`s results have been summarized presented in both graphical tabular form.

Plant tissue cultures have been widely used in both fundamental and applied types of research on various biological species, the scientific interest to transfer that technology industrial scale has rapidly growing. The use vitro for commercial propagation different plant species production bioactive compounds from them become profitable industry worldwide. In past decades, progress culture was directed towards introduction liquid medium cultivation under submerged conditions bioreactor...

The aim of the present study is to develop a system for micropropagation bog blueberries. They are distributed from 1700 2500 m above sea level in mountains Rila, Pirin, Western and Central Balkan Mountain, Vitosha, Osogovo, Sredna Gora Middle Rhodopes. An approach statistical optimization media under laboratory conditions has been applied first time. Sterile explants were introduced vitro on WPM, enriched with 3 mg.l-1 2-iP pH 4.2. To optimize proliferation, nine variants WPM tested...

The development of efficient regeneration system from various explants is a very important part the biotechnology programs for crop improvement.Four extensively grown Bulgarian raspberry cultivars and two elite hybrids were tested along period eight weeks. Leaf petioles used on ten culture media combinations. In most cases, became visible after 3 weeks culture. Genotype specific procedures adventitious shoot formation both leaf segments developed. Most surprisingly, high response was...

Abiotic stresses such as drought, high or low temperatures limit in great extend plant distribution and productivity. This is particularly true for perennial crops, including small fruits. Classical breeding heat freezing tolerance a very complex time-consuming process. Biotechnology approaches could significantly contribute speeding up the procedures to make them less dependent on environment conditions.Using PEG selective agent under vitro conditions we were able distinguish Bulgarski...
