Global warming as a result of greenhouse gas emissions generated by anthropogenic activities (mainly the combustion fossil fuels) has become an increasingly more severe challenge for all mankind. As promising zero-carbon energy carrier toward transition to carbon-neutral society, ammonia drawn broad attention from academia, industry, and government bodies. However, widespread applications primary fuel in devices require solutions multiple technical challenges, among which possibly very high...
Abstract Flexible fiber‐based supercapacitor (FSC) with excellent electrochemical performance and high tensile strength modulus is strongly desired for some special circumstances, such as load‐bearing, abrasion resistant, anticutting fabrics. Here, a series of ultrahigh‐strength fiber electrodes are prepared flexible FSCs based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fibers, which the polydopamine, Ag, poly (3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) deposited in sequence. The...
Three chiral pyrrolidine functionalized polyacrylonitrile fiber catalysts have been designed, prepared, and evaluated for their catalytic performance in asymmetric Michael addition of ketones to nitrostyrenes water.
Four aminopyridine (AP) functionalized polyacrylonitrile fibers (PANAPFs) were developed. UV–vis, FTIR, EA, and SEM used to demonstrate the successful preparation of fiber catalysts. Among prepared catalysts, PANp-AP-3F (with a C3 chain linker) PANp-AP-6F C6 exhibited best catalytic activity efficiently catalyze Gewald reaction ethyl cyanoacetate 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-dithiane in water with yields up 92% under low catalyst dosage 1 mol %. The influences position length linker, i.e., carbon...
Highly efficient, easily recyclable and reusable polyacrylonitrile fiber-supported quaternary ammonium salts for the reduction of aldehydes, ketones, azides, benzyl halides in water using NaBH4 as reducing reagent.
The implementation of zero-carbon fuels, such as hydrogen and ammonia derived from renewable sources, is a promising strategy for achieving the goals carbon peaking neutrality in industrial sectors, where traditional hydrocarbon fuels still dominate. This paper discusses recent successful application 100% both fuel DeNOx (denitrification) agent ceramic roller kiln. First, design burner discussed. Stable, efficient, low-NOx combustion achieved through swirling air-stage technologies....
Visible light tomography is a promising and increasingly popular technique for fluid imaging. However, the use of sparse number viewpoints in capturing setups makes reconstruction flows very challenging. In this paper, we present state-of-the-art 4D tomographic framework that integrates several regularizers into multi-scale matrix free optimization algorithm. addition to existing regularizers, propose two new improved results: regularizer based on view interpolation projected images...
Multiple injection strategies can be used for controlling the heat release rate in an engine, particularly compression ignition engines. This mitigate transfer losses and overcome limitation related to maximum pressure allowed a particular engine. Controlling with repetitive injections requires precise characterization of fuel rates. In such configuration, injector should characterized its hydraulic delay, injection, effect dwell timing multiple injections. study investigates behavior...
Abstract Aiming to solve the problems caused by primary explosives in traditional detonators, a new kind of non‐primary explosive detonator based on principle flying plate is invented. However, some special circumstances, such as high temperature, strong radiation, magnetic field, overload, high‐pressure conditions, cannot work well because defects its usual used initiating method like electric hot wire devices, exploding bridge initiator, and shock‐conducting tube. In this context,...
Gasoline compression ignition (GCI) engines have recently become a topic of interest due to its potential for very high thermal efficiencies with significant pollution reduction. High reactivity gasoline-like fuels shorter delay and similar volatility compared market gasoline been identified as viable option the GCI engines. To fully realize in engines, spray characterization fuel is needed developing better understanding these fuels’ behavior perspective engine applications. In this study,...
This article illustrates a method to predict flammability of mixtures containing methane, oxygen, and other inert gases like nitrogen carbon dioxide based on chemical equilibrium. Calculated adiabatic flame temperature (CAFT) is used as parameter determine whether fuel mixture combustible or not. Our calculated results are obtained with initial conditions 1 atm 298 K. Compared experimental data reported in the literature, we find that 1,450 K an appropriate threshold flammability. Mixtures...
