A highly supported maximum-likelihood species phylogeny for the genus Bradyrhizobium was inferred from a supermatrix obtained concatenation of partial atpD, recA, glnII, and rpoB sequences corresponding to 33 reference strains 76 bradyrhizobia isolated nodules Glycine max (soybean) trap plants inoculated with soil samples Myanmar, India, Nepal, Vietnam. The power multigene approach using multiple per evaluated in terms overall tree resolution phylogenetic congruence, representing practical...
The Y chromosome carries information about the demography of paternal lineages, and thus, can prove invaluable for retracing both evolutionary trajectory wild animals breeding history domesticates. In horses, shows a limited, but highly informative, sequence diversity, supporting increasing influence Oriental lineages during last 1500 years. Here, we augment primary horse Y-phylogeny, which is currently mainly based on modern breeds economic interest, with haplotypes (HT) segregating in...
Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is the etiological agent of enzootic bovine leukosis, which most common neoplastic disease cattle. BLV infects cattle worldwide and causes serious problems for industry. In this study, we examined prevalence infection distribution genotypes in northern, central, southern parts Myanmar. The among Myanmar (37.04%) study was markedly higher than (9.1%) observed our earlier detected from limited number only a small area Phylogenetic analysis partial env-gp51 sequence...
To explore the intake of fruits and vegetables in Yangon region, Myanmar, to describe associations between (FV) established risk factors for non-communicable diseases.2 cross-sectional studies, using STEPs methodology.Urban rural areas region Myanmar.1486, men women, 25-74 years, were recruited through a multistage cluster sampling method. Institutionalised people, military personnel, Buddhist monks nuns not invited. Physically mentally ill people excluded.Mean fruit was 0.8 (SE 0.1) 0.6...
Abstract Background Myanmar cattle populations predominantly consist of native breeds (Pyer Sein and Shwe), characterized by their geographical location coat color, the Holstein-Friesian crossbreed, which is highly adapted to harsh tropical climates this region. Here, we analyzed diversity genetic structure BoLA-DRB3 gene, a locus that has been linked immune response, in populations. Methods Blood samples ( n = 294) were taken from two Sein, 163 Shwe Ni, 69) crossbreed (Holstein-Friesian,...
Insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R) is essential for the signalling of growth. In this study, we performed single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) detection in Japanese quail IGF1R coding region and an association study between SNPs body weight two lines (SS LL) selected large small weight. Of 21 obtained, a SNP at position AB292766:c.2293G>A led to replacement valine with isoleucine (V765I). The were fixed alternate alleles, allele encoding LL line. A significant effect genotype was...
A single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) site, alleles and C, within promoter region of insulin-like growth factor 1 gene (IGF1) showed significant association with chicken growth, body composition skeletal traits. In the present study, we performed genotyping this SNP in Asian native populations, layer broiler populations using PCR-RFLP comparison expression level traits among genotypes. By PCR-RFLP, allele C frequency was estimated to be range 0.64-1.00 12 0.48-1.00 eight stocks 0.00-0.14...
Myanmar native horses are small used mainly for drafting carts or carriages in rural areas and packing loads mountainy areas. In the present study, we investigated genotype distributions allele frequencies of LCORL/NCAPG, MSTN DMRT3 genes, which associated with body composition locomotion traits horses, seven local populations horses. The genotyping result LCORL/NCAPG showed that C higher withers height ranged from 0.08 to 0.27, 0.13 average. For MSTN, proportion Type 2B muscular fiber 0.05...
The sequential morphology of vascular smooth muscle cell involution and physiological death was studied by electron microscopy on rat incisors. Concurrently with changes in the pulp continuously growing incisor, its arterioles pass through a cycle growth, remodeling, regression decay. During cycle, cells were observed to involute segregation cytoplasmic components, formation autophagic digestive vacuoles shedding fragments. Phagocytic found neighbouring adventitious macrophages. Concomitant...
In this study, we attempted to use amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) in combination with selective genotyping detect loci that affected shank and body weight at 10 weeks of age Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica). A total 88 primer pairs were used AFLP analyses 13 males the longest shortest lengths, respectively, from an F2 intercross population derived lines differentiated by large small size (LL SS, respectively). Ten bands differed strikingly frequency between two groups...
A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was comprised 2x3 factorial arrangements of two breeds (DYL and local breed) three different lysine levels. The 12 weeks old, nine castrated DYL breed were randomly allocated in each individual pen to six treatment groups with replicates into 18 pens. Two pigs exposed the dietary treatments, L1- basal diet without supplementation, L2- 1.15% total for grower L3- 1.65% grower. growth performance feed intake determined growing pigs. In this study, no...
Background: Severe dengue has become a leading cause of hospitalization and death among children adults in most Asian countries. WHO stated that the rate with severe who required is about 2.5%? It one principal epidemic diseases Myanmar. Moreover, highest numbers cases deaths was between age 5 9 years followed by 2 4 years. Methods: A cross-sectional study 168 preschool teachers surveying semi-structured questionnaire. Results: The mean 29.36±9.04 years. Nearly 70% them were graduated. Only...
