This study evaluated the depth of cure five dental composites submitted to different light-curing modes.Canal-shaped cavities with 5mm length were prepared on buccal surfaces extracted third molars, and restored using P-60, A-110, Admira, Z-250 Supreme resin composites. Materials light-cured from top, according three modes (Group 1- Conventional (C): 500 mW/cm(2) / 40 s; Group 2 - Soft-Start (SS): 250 mW/cm(2)/ 20 s + 10 3 LED: s). After that, cavity longitudinal polished marked a millimeter...
For patients with loss of vertical dimension occlusion caused by parafunctional habits associated acidic food intake, care must be taken when choosing the restorative material. The composite resin besides being a low-cost material, is material that has better indication for treatment not only optimum comfort, but increased longevity under study, providing cost-benefit from materials choice. However, one should know well about conditioning, adhesion and resin, including finishing polishing....
The aim of this study is to compare the fracture strength provisional partial prosthetic bridge (PPPB) manufactured with different materials. PPPB were made proprietary materials: Dencor, Duralay, Luxatemp, Snap, (n=10). Each was according manufacturer instructions. Fractural value submitted statistical analysis ANOVA and Tuckey tests (p Duralay 44.48 > Luxatemp 31.52= Snap 29.69. Dencor showed higher results than I Snap.
