The land snail fauna of the Mut District was surveyed during spring (April-May) 2008. A total 31 species and subspecies-9 (29%) them endemics-belonging to 26 genera 14 families were determined from 41 localities. Dominant Enidae, Orculidae, Hygromiidae. Humidity, vegetation, habitat type determinants richness in study area. Species composition, according cluster multivariate analyses, also found be affected by altitude factor.
