The acoustic behaviour of a classroom is vital for an effective teaching-learning process. present work aims to experimentally determine the performance typical classroom. full-scale experiment was conducted at Seminar Hall, Department Applied Mechanics, MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj, using method with limited resource requirements. Hall divided into four planes by threads, and sound pressure level (SPL) measured 30 coordinates in each plane specified source location. Data were collected from...

The present study reports a novel technique to synthesise silica nanoparticles through modified sol-gel, ultrasonication, and hydrothermal routes. Physio-chemical structural characterization was carried out using X-ray diffraction, high resolution scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, Fourier transform infrared ultraviolet-visible, photoluminescence spectroscopy. particle size determination revealed the spherical structure of with an average...

The present study reports a cost‐effective and eco‐friendly route for the one‐pot biogenic synthesis of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) using Ficus racemose leaf extract. average particle size distribution zeta potential were reported as 200 nm −10.47 mV via dynamic light scattering (DLS) potential. single‐phase patterns ZnO NPs showing hexagonal crystal structure with an crystallite 21 measured X‐ray diffraction (XRD). Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) revealed...

Community-wide mask wearing may contribute to the control of COVID-19 by reducing amount emission infected saliva and respiratory droplets from individuals with subclinical or mild COVID-19. In this work, a brief review is presented on face masks related things. First, size microorganisms in relation PM2.5 PM10 given for an approximate estimate sizes objects that needs be filtered. continuation, principles filtration network fibers (woven, non-woven, knitted, etc.) are given. Common used...

Abstract Cyclic fatigue strength (CFS) of laminated glasses (LGs) with different interlayers and their nominal thicknesses were compared. The effect interlayer thickness, cyclic bending load, type on CFS is clearly observed from this brief study. It was found that the LG‐PVB has comparatively lower than LG‐EVA. There an increment in critical thickness (significantly for 0.38 to 0.76 mm) both LG‐EVA (prominent) LG‐PVB. maximum deformation at failure load corresponding number cycles obtained...

Mechanical properties of composite board made from waste paper, wood dust, and sisal fibers with various weight proportions were investigated in this work. The was produced by hand lay-up technique polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) binder. result shows that the bending strength ranged between 3.5 N/mm2 7.5 N/mm2; water absorption values 6.65% 10.5%; as well density 280 kg/mm3 360 kg/mm3. A better combination results has been found for fiber (35%), dust (30%), PVA (10%) paper (25%). obtained is...

Cobalt ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method and used for supercapacitor application. Structural morphological properties studied X-ray diffraction field emission scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The potential use of these as an electrode supercapacitors was investigated the electrochemical behavior using cyclic voltammetry (CV) galvanostatic charge-discharge tests. CV curves cobalt nanoparticle modified showed a typical pseudocapacitive behavior.
