Genetic studies in fruit flies have implicated the chromatin remodeling complex nucleosome factor (NURF) immunity, but it has yet to be studied mammals. Here we show that its targeting mice enhances antitumor immunity two syngeneic models of cancer. NURF was disabled by silencing bromodomain PHD-finger containing transcription (BPTF), largest and essential subunit NURF. We found both CD8+ CD4+ T cells were necessary for enhanced activity, with elevated numbers activated observed...

Using syngeneic BALB/c mouse breast cancer models, we show that the chromatin remodeling subunit bromodomain PHD finger transcription factor (BPTF) suppresses natural killer (NK) cell antitumor activity in tumor microenvironment (TME). In culture, BPTF direct cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) mediated NK cytolytic to and human lines, demonstrating conserved functions. Blocking NCR1 vivo rescues KD weights, its importance for control of growth. We discovered occupies heparanase (Hpse) regulatory...
