Polypyrrole nanotubes (PPy-NTs) were prepared by the oxidation of pyrrole with iron(III) chloride in presence a structure-guiding agent, methyl orange. Upon carbonization salt form PPy-NTs, conducting nitrogen-containing nanotubular carbonaceous material (C-PPy-NT) was obtained. The morphology, structure, and physicochemical properties PPy-NTs base as well C-PPy-NTs investigated transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared Raman spectroscopies, conductivity measurements,...
Abstract Zinc ferrite nanocrystalline powder was obtained by solid state synthesis of starting zinc oxide and hematite nanopowders. Field emission scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy Raman confirmed the formation zinc‐ferrite with a mixed spinel structure small amounts remaining as impurities. Thick film paste formed screen printed on test interdigitated PdAg electrodes alumina substrate. Formation porous Hg porosimetry....
Elevated concentrations of arsenic in groundwater, which is used as a source for drinking water, worldwide problem. Use TiO2 and iron doped synthesized by microwave-assisted hydrothermal method As(III) As(V) removal were examined. Synthesized sorbents characterized with XRD nitrogen physisorption. have predominantly anatase structure, no peaks could be observed. Doping increases the surface area sorbents. Sorption experiments show that increase sorption capacity As(V). Increase pH from 3 to...
