Key Clinical Message Adalimumab has become essential for managing various chronic inflammatory diseases, including bowel disease (IBD). While hematologic complications of adalimumab therapy are rare, they can have significant clinical implications. Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a rare condition, particularly in non-cirrhotic patients. Anticoagulation remains the mainstay of treatment.
