Determining the timing of initial continental collision is a fundamental step in accurately reconstructing paleogeodynamic evolution orogenic belts. This process necessitates comprehensive integration evidence gathered through various analytical techniques, both field and laboratory, to achieve conclusive understanding. We here use methods, including sandstone petrography, U-Pb dating, trace element Hf isotopic compositions detrital zircon, Haji Abad (eastern Zagros Orogen) Shamil areas...

Abstract We have used U‐Pb zircon ages and Hf isotopic compositions for detrital zircons from Eocene Cretaceous‐Triassic sedimentary rocks of the Makran accretionary complex (MAC, Iran) to understand source growth MAC during Mesozoic Cenozoic time. The sandstones reveal main age distribution Paleocene with a peak at 54 Ma show εHf( t ) values −47.7 +12.1. Our compiled U‐Pb‐Hf data both Urumieh‐Dokhtar Magmatic Belt magmatic Paleogene that continental arc are important suppliers zircons....

ABSTRACT Retrograde intussusception may occur following Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass surgery with a variety of presentations including colicky abdominal pain, constipation, and vomiting. A rare manifestation this complication is upper gastrointestinal bleeding (hematemesis) which can cause misdiagnosis.

Zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopes, integrated with bulk-rock major, trace element, and isotopic compositions of amphibolites from the Makran ophiolitic mélange complex (OMC), carry implications on evolution Neo-Tethys Ocean. Field petrographical-geochemical data confirm these as products metamorphism a mafic protolith. Zircons have U-Pb ages Late Early Permian (273 Ma) to Triassic (210 Ma), their εHf(t) values vary +6.32 +15.4. The are geochemically similar transitional- or enriched-MORBs....
