In this paper we present in detail Newton's method and its modification, based on the Continuous analog of for computing periodic orbits planar three-body problem. The linear system at each step is formed by solving a ODEs with multiple precision Taylor series method. We consider zero angular momentum symmetric initial configuration parallel velocities, bodies equal masses relatively short periods. Taking candidates correction greater return proximity as usual correcting modified method,...

Visually evoked potentials (VEPs) were elicited by Gabor gratings with different lengths and widths at three spatial frequencies (SFs): low, 1.45 c/deg, medium, 2.9 c/deg high, 5.8 a contrast 3 times above the detection threshold each SF. An increase of grating length enhanced N1 amplitude occipital parietal positions stronger than width aspect ratios (length : width) 4:1. The effect stimulus was reflected also in later P1 component central positions. larger on VEP SF specific: it smaller...

OpenMP parallelization of multiple precision Taylor series method is proposed. A very good parallel performance scalability and efficiency inside one computation node a CPU-cluster observed. We explain the details on classical example Lorentz equations. The same approach can be applied straightforwardly to large class chaotic dynamical systems.

Humans have the unique ability to discern spatial and temporal regularities in their surroundings. However, effect of learning these on eye movement characteristics has not been studied enough. In present study, we investigated frequency occurrence presence common chunks visual images like fixation duration, saccade amplitude number, gaze number across sequential experimental epochs. The participants had discriminate patterns presented pairs as same or different. order was repeated six...

In this work we propose an efficient parallelization of multiple-precision Taylor series method with variable stepsize and fixed order. For given level accuracy the optimal determines higher order than in case stepsize. Although used is greater then that stepsize, hence computational per step greater, reduced number steps gives less overall work. Also beneficial sense it increases parallel efficiency. As a model problem use paradigmatic Lorenz system. With 256 CPU cores Nestum cluster,...
