We investigated the relationship between size of lesser trochanter visualized on an AP view hip and femoral rotation after shaft fracture fixation. hypothesized that amount can accurately detect differences in rotation.Sequential fluoroscopic images 19 matched pairs cadaver femora were obtained proximal femur at 10° increments internal external rotation.
