Pharmaceutical wastewater is a typical type of with high concentrations organic pollutants, but research on this subject limited. The aeration tanks three different pharmaceutical treatment systems were seeded the same inocula and stably operated for 40 days. Then, aerobic sludge samples from collected to provide insight into bacterial community composition activated sludges. Additionally, we investigated effects characteristics operation technological system microbial communities....

The complexity of crude oil composition, combined with the fluctuating oxygen level in contaminated environments, poses challenges for bioremediation pollutants, because compound-specific microbial degradation petroleum hydrocarbons under certain conditions. As a result, facultative bacteria capable breaking down both aerobic and anaerobic conditions are presumably effective, however, this hypothesis has not been directly tested. In current investigation,

Abstract Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu-x Ga 2 O 3 /Cu solder joints with different contents (x=0wt%, 0.2wt%, 0.4wt%, 0.6wt%, 0.8wt%, 1.2wt%) were prepared by nanosized particles and isothermal aging at 170 °C for distinct time. And the effect of on interfacial enhancement behaviour Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu was dug into. The results show that a proper amount can impede IMC layer. When content is 0.4%-0.8%, inhibitory layer better. 0.4%, slow, diffusion coefficient 3.34×10- 16 m /s.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain SJTD-1 can utilize long-chain alkanes, diesel oil, and crude oil as sole carbon sources. We report the draft genome sequence of (6,074,058 bp, with a GC content 66.83%) major findings from its annotation, which could provide insights into petroleum biodegradation mechanism.

A hydrothermal synthesis method for β zeolite preparation using kaolin as the sole alumina source was investigated. This approach provided a choice to manufacture with low cost source. The samples were characterized by XRD, IR, SEM, XRF, DSC, and BET surface area measurements. Tunable crystallinity, higher meso- or macroporosity, thermal stability, more Brönsted type acid sites of can be obtained properly controlling conditions this system. catalytic evaluation results indicated that...

Biodegradation preference of single, identified bacterium is the basis bioremediation and microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR). However, impacts different bacterial species on biodegradation polar compounds are unclear. Accordingly, in this study, we performed a 90-day simulation crude using Pseudomonas aeruginosa XJ16 Acinetobacter lwoffii XJ19. Biodegraded oils were characterized by negative-ion electrospray source ionization ESI (−), Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass...

The metabolism of widely used aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicides has been extensively studied in microbes. However, the information on degradation diclofop-methyl (DCM) is limited, with no genetic and biochemical investigation reported. consortium L1 Rhodococcus sp. Existing studies determining the effects of substituted methyl groups on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon biodegradation were mostly limited to an individual compound or a class compounds. The simultaneous transformation multiple series methyl-substituted two-ring hydrocarbons (61 compounds) in crude oil through laboratory simulations has been examined, including naphthalenes, fluorenes, biphenyls, and dibenzofurans. sequences order dimethylnaphthalenes > trimethylnaphthalenes biphenyls...

Conventional polystyrene (PS) monoliths are rarely used for separation of biomacromolecules due to their heterogeneous skeletons and hydrophobic surfaces. In this work, high-permeable bimodal open-porous (BOPMs) with homogeneous glycopolymer surfaces were prepared by reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization via an emulsion-templating method. The stable bicontinuous medium-internal phase emulsion (MIPE) was stabilized the cooperative assembly two surfactants,...
