One of the advantages FDM technology is production product materials with infill structure. In order to make most this advantage, behaviour printed material structure under different loads has be analyzed and understood. Therefore, goal experimental research analyze influence density (100%, 80%, 60% 20%) on tensile mechanical properties (tensile strength elastic modulus) PLA antibacterial nanocomposite, tough ABS-X 3D materials.

Abstract One of the advantages provided by fused deposition modelling (FDM) 3D printing technology is manufacturing product materials with infill structure, which provides such as reduced production time, weight and even final price. In this paper, tensile mechanical properties, strength elastic modulus, PLA, Tough PLA PC FDM printed structure were analysed compared. Also, influence pattern on properties was analysed. Material testing performed according to ISO 527-2 standard. All results...

Widely used additive manufacturing technique for plastic materials is Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM). The FDM technology has gained interest in industry a wide range of applications, especially today when large number different on the market are available. There many manufacturers same material where difference price goes up to 50%. This experimental study investigates possible strength 3D printed PLA five manufacturers. All specimens Ultimaker S5 printer with printing parameters, and they...

Background: The development of novel medical imaging technologies and treatment procedures hinges on the availability accurate versatile phantoms. This paper presents a cost-effective approach for creating anthropomorphic abdominal Methods: study proposes method using 3D printing readily available materials (beeswax, plaster, epoxy resin) to create high-fidelity three-dimensionally printed phantoms exhibited X-ray attenuation properties closely matching those human tissues, with measured...

Computed tomography (CT) is a diagnostic imaging process that uses ionising radiation to obtain information about the interior anatomic structure of human body. Considering medical use implies exposing patients may lead unwanted stochastic effects and those are less probable at lower doses, optimising protocols great importance. In this paper, we used an assembled 3D-printed infant head phantom matched its image quality parameters with obtained for commercially available adult using protocol...

This paper deals with a sensitivity analysis of engineering critical assessment, using fracture assessment diagram through-thickens axial flaws on pressure equipment. Basic option calculations are performed per BS 7910, mechanics principles, followed by the provision points. For evaluation purposes, arbitrary design properties equipment and temperature-dependent materials were used. Several through-thickness flaw sizes used for assessment. Furthermore, is evaluated varying stress states...
