Red cell distribution width (RDW) is independently associated with morbidity and mortality in cardiovascular diseases. RDW elevated hypertensive patients compared normotensives. Based on the nocturnal course, hypertension classified as dipper non-dipper. Non-dipper higher inflammation worse prognosis. We aimed to investigate whether high-sensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP) are non-dipper dippers. The study included total 247 essential patients. Twenty-four-hour ambulatory blood pressure...

The present study investigated the neuroprotective effects of chrysin (CRS) following global cerebral ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) in a C57BL/J6 mouse model.A total 40 mice were equally divided into four groups: (1) sham-operated (SH = control), (2) I/R (I/R), (3) CRS, (4) CRS + I/R. In group, bilateral carotid arteries clipped for 15 min treated with vehicle (corn oil) 10 days. (50 mg/kg) was given days without occlusion. group also All rats sacrificed under anesthesia on day 10,...

Congenital unilateral agenesis of the internal carotid artery (ICA) is a rare anomaly. Due to proper sufficient collateral circulation via circle Willis most cases are asymptomatic, but patients can also present with ischemic or hemorrhagic cerebrovascular insults. The absence bony canal essential differentiate this anomaly from chronic ICA occlusion. Awareness situation by clinicians and radiologists because these have an increased incidence various intracranial pathologies. We report two...

Forty female rats were divided into five groups eight: group 1, control; 2, 15 Gy single dose RT (RT); 3, 4 mg/kg MOL treated for 5 days (MOL); 4, days, 10 after treatment (RT + MOL); 5, before (MOL RT). All sacrificed on day 16. Neurodegenerative changes tissue levels oxidants antioxidants evaluated. The oxidative parameters increased antioxidant status was decreased...

Background The known primary radiological diagnosis of Chiari Malformation-I (CM-I) is based on the degree tonsillar herniation (TH) below Foramen Magnum (FM). However, recent data also shows association such malformation with smaller posterior cranial fossa (PCF) volume and anatomical issues regarding Odontoid. This study presents achieved result some detected potential findings that may aid CM-I using several machine learning (ML) algorithms. Materials Methods Midsagittal T1-weighted MR...
