We present calculations of the low-energy mass spectrum and matrix elements quantum chromodynamics. employ an isospin doublet massless quarks analyze theory from strong-coupling limit using a particularly simple lattice Hamiltonian. In vacuum state has exact local color symmetry, but spontaneously breaks those chiral symmetry which are in Expansions for masses ($\ensuremath{\pi},\ensuremath{\rho},\ensuremath{\omega},\ensuremath{\sigma},{A}_{1},B,f,$ nucleon) ${g}_{A}$ reciprocal coupling...

In 1865 James Clerk Maxwell published in the Philosophical Transactions a long paper entitled 'A dynamical theory of electromagnetic field'. this work, about which he wrote to relative, 'I have afloat, with an light, which, till I am convinced contrary, Ihold be great guns', set up field equations unifying electricity and magnetism, identified light as 'an disturbance form waves propagated through according laws'.

The paper reports on an investigation into the application of B method formal software development. Six case studies are described, each exploring a different aspect use methodology and toolkit. drawn from diverse range applications address aspects development lifecycle. notation, tool support assessed conclusions concerning methods generally.

Linear relations and sum rules for deep-inelastic lepton scattering are derived from a set of weak, neutral, electromagnetic currents based on several four-quark schemes.Received 3 April 1972DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.6.3651©1972 American Physical Society

This book contains a somewhat unusual mixture of lectures on particle theory, phenomenology and experimental high energy physics techniques, presented at Nato advanced study institute held in July 1980. J Rosner gives useful detailed review the quark model as seen light quantum chromodynamics.

The possibilities for detecting neutral heavy leptons ${N}^{0}$ in ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ annihilation experiments are investigated. A detailed study of the important decay modes is presented. kinematical features reactions ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{N}^{0}{\overline{N}}^{0}$ and $\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}{N}^{0}$ with subsequent ${N}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}e\ensuremath{\pi}$ explored a view to deducing heavy-lepton couplings.

The pion and $\ensuremath{\rho}$-meson decay constants, ${f}_{\ensuremath{\pi}}$ ${f}_{\ensuremath{\rho}}$, are computed using the lattice Hamiltonian form of quantum chromodynamics. resulting value $\frac{{f}_{\ensuremath{\pi}}{m}_{\ensuremath{\rho}}}{{f}_{\ensuremath{\rho}}}\ensuremath{\approx}0.7$ is in good agreement with experiment.

We show that a cancellation mechanism proposed by Kingsley to generate the octet rule in three-triplet theories cannot be realized model of Georgi and Glashow. It is incidentally found that, this model, mass intermediate vector boson double-valued; ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{C}=13.3\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$ implies ${M}_{W}=34.6 or 36.7$ GeV.
