ABSTRACT The potential for biosolids products to reduce Pb availability in soil was tested on a high urban with from treatment plant that used different processing technologies. High Fe compost and + lime other plants were also tested. Amendments added Pb‐contaminated (2000 mg kg −1 Pb) at 100 g incubated 30 d. Reductions bioavailability evaluated both vivo vitro procedures. study entailed feeding mixture of the AIN93G Basal Mix weanling rats. Three variations an procedure performed as well...

Sulfamethoxazole (SMZ), sulfathiazole (STZ) and sulfamethazine (SMT) are typical sulfonamides, which widespread in aqueous environments have aroused great concern recent years. In this study, the photochemical oxidation of SMZ, STZ SMT their mixed solution using UV/H2O2 process was innovatively investigated. The result showed that sulfonamides could be completely decomposed system, each contaminant co-existence system fitted pseudo-first-order kinetic model. removal influenced by initial...

Surface nitridation is used to eliminate O-polar inversion domains and control the growth of single-domain Zn-polar ZnO film on sapphire (0001) substrate by rf-plasma-assisted molecular-beam epitaxy. It found that temperature crucial for achieving quality AlN buffer layers films with cation polarity, as demonstrated ex situ transmission electron microscopy. Under optimal conditions, a 4×4 surface reconstruction was observed, which confirmed be characteristic structure films, can fingerprint...

The discovery of high-temperature superconductivity in FeSe/SrTiO3 has sparked significant interests exploring new superconducting systems with engineered interfaces. Here, using molecular beam epitaxy growth, we successfully fabricate FeSe/PbOx heterostructures and discover superconductivities three different monolayer FeSe-related We observe gaps 13~14 meV the FeSe films grown on two phases PbOx. Moreover, a insulating Fe10Se9 phase an ordered $\sqrt{5}\times\sqrt{5}$ Se-vacancy structure....

Abstract Ruddlesden-Popper bilayer nickelate thin film superconductors discovered under ambient pressure enable vast possibilities for investigating electronic structures of the superconducting state. Here, we report angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) measurements 1, 2, and 3 unit-cell epitaxial La2.85Pr0.15Ni2O7 films grown on SrLaAlO4 substates, through pure-oxygen in situ sample transportation. Evidence obtained using photons with distinct probing depths shows that...

We report on a scanning tunneling spectroscopy study vortex imaging and surface superconductivity of thin type-II superconducting Pb island, which is epitaxially grown Si substrate 12 atomic monolayers in thickness. The field dependence lattice evolution reveals the existence layer, parallel to magnetic periphery island disappears above critical Hc3 3077 G. Hc3/Hc2 ratio 1.57 gives further support for superconductivity.

Surface modification of sapphire (0001) by Ga can eliminate multiple rotation domains in ZnO films. The existence at ZnO∕sapphire interface was confirmed x-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy a transmission electron microscope. Atomic detail mismatch dislocations imaged high resolution microscopy. Inside the film, there is density stacking fault. Both pure gliding ZnO(0001) plane and condensation vacancies or interstatials are possible mechanisms to generate
