We investigate the production and detection prospects for quintuplet heavy leptons at LHC in context of a new model which is proposed as viable testable solution to neutrino mass problem. classify signals, carry out full simulation on signals relevant backgrounds 14 TeV LHC. After applying suitable kinematic cuts, background events are substantially suppressed. The might be detected
Abstract Slope length is an important factor in soil erosion modeling, and the reasonable automatic extraction of slope great significance research. However, previous studies have mainly focused on regional scale, how to effectively extract at scale deserves further In this study, a algorithm based streamlines method (SSM) proposed for problem geomorphology, it compared with three existing calculation methods. The experimental results show that new can quickly calculate streamlines,...
We investigate the prospects for discovering axionlike particles (ALPs) via a light by scattering at two colliders, future circular collider (FCC-ee) and electron-positron (CEPC). The promising sensitivities to effective ALP-photon coupling ${g}_{a\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}}$ are obtained. Our numerical results show that FCC-ee CEPC might be more sensitive ALPs with mass 2--8 GeV than LHC CLIC.
Considering the experimental constraints given by CMS collaboration at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV on strength of top quark flavour-changing neutral-current (FCNC) couplings $tq\gamma$ and $tqg$, we investigate production in association with a photon carry out full simulation for signals $\ell\nu b\gamma$ $jjb\gamma$ 14 LHC. In our numerical analysis, contributions single radiation off decay products are also included. The discovery potential anomalous $tqg$ an integrated luminosity 100 fb$^{-1}$...
We examine the h→μτ and muon g−2 in exact alignment limit of two-Higgs-doublet model. In this case, couplings SM-like Higgs to SM particles are same as at tree level, tree-level lepton–flavor–violating coupling hμτ is absent. assume μτ excess observed by CMS be respectively from other neutral Higgses, H A, which almost degenerates with 125 GeV. After imposing relevant theoretical constraints experimental precision electroweak data, B-meson decays, τ decays searches, we find that anomaly...
We investigate the prospects for detecting axion-like particles (ALPs, dubbed as "a") via decay $Z\rightarrow a f\bar{f}$ at future $Z$ factories. Considering channels $a\rightarrow \mu^+ \mu^-$ and b \bar{b}$ , four types of signals $\mu^+ \mu^- /E$, $b $e^+ e^- b$ are explored. demonstrate that these promising ALPs factories obtain sensitivity bounds on couplings $g_{aZZ}$ $g_{a\gamma Z}$.
We study the charged Higgs production at LHC via its associated with top quark. The kinematic cuts are optimized to suppress background processes so that reconstruction of and quark is possible. angular distributions respect spin explored $Htb$ interaction LHC.
We study the sensitivity of a down type quark b′ via process pp → $$ b^{\prime}\overline{b}^{\prime } t{W}^{-\overline{t}W+} using jet substructure methods at LHC with collision energy \sqrt{s} = 14 TeV. consider case that is heavy (say from 800 GeV to 1500 GeV) and concentrate on feasibility full hadronic mode. Both top tagger (the HEP tagger) W CMS W-tagging) are used reconstruct all objects in final states. In order suppress huge SM background events take into account various cases...
Heavy charged lepton productions via gluon fusion at the LHC are revisited. Full loop calculations adopted with an updated parton distribution function and electroweak data. Including contribution from new generation quarks in loop, pair production of sequential heavy dominates over that Drell-Yan mechanism some mass range. Exotic single vectorlike extended models is also calculated. In later case, Higgs exchange emphasized. Our numerical results for both leptons smaller than previous...
Using data samples of $102\times10^6$ $\Upsilon(1S)$ and $158\times10^6$ $\Upsilon(2S)$ events collected with the Belle detector, a first experimental search has been made for double-charmonium production in exclusive decays $\Upsilon(1S,2S)\rightarrow J/\psi(\psi')+X$, where $X=\eta_c$, $\chi_{cJ} (J=~0,~1,~2)$, $\eta_c(2S)$, $X(3940)$, $X(4160)$. No significant signal is observed spectra mass recoiling against reconstructed $J/\psi$ or $\psi'$ except evidence $\chi_{c1}$ significance...
We review the study of charged Higgs and top quark associated production at LHC with presence an additional scalar doublet. Top spin effects are related to fermion couplings through this process. The angular distributions respect turns out be distinctive observables Htb interaction in different models.
Many new physics models beyond the standard model, such as littlest Higgs and left-right twin models, predict existence of large charged couplings ${H}^{\ensuremath{-}}q\overline{b}$ ${H}^{+}b\overline{q}$, where $q=t$ or vectorlike heavy quark $T$. On other hand, some like Higgs, also gauge-Higgs couplings. Such may have rich collider phenomenology. We focus our attention on these induced by consider their contributions to production cross section for...
Measuring the vector boson scattering (VBS) precisely is an important step towards understanding electroweak symmetry breaking of standard model (SM) and detecting new physics beyond SM. We propose a neural network which compress features VBS into three dimensional latent space. The consistency SM prediction experimental data tested by binned log-likelihood analysis in will show that capable distinguish different polarization modes $WWjj$ production both dileptonic channel semi-leptonic...
Abstract In this paper, we investigate the production of a pair doubly charged leptons associated with gauge boson V(γ or Z) at future linear colliders via e + − and γγ collisions. The numerical results show that possible signals may be detected processes → VX ++ X −− ILC CLIC experiments.
In the context of little Higgs models, we discuss single production new charged gauge bosons in association with top quark at CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We find that WH− and X−, which are predicted by littlest model SU(3) simple model, respectively, can be abundantly produced LHC. However, since main backgrounds coming from processes pp → t + X tW− very large, values ratios NW NX small most parameter space. It is only possible to detect signal boson via process gb tWH− LHC a region

The associated production of $Z$ boson and a pair new quarks at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is studied. cross sections for both sequential fermions vector-like are presented. It found that can reach $1\sim 10^2$ fb heavy quark mass $m_Q$ from 1000 GeV to 200 GeV. For quarks, suppressed by mixing parameter $\sin\theta_L$. Focusing on process $pp \to b'b'$, we investigate possibility detecting $6l+2j$ signal. $b'$ with light large branching ratio $b'\to bZ$, it only several signal events...
