Abstract Molecular models of pure and 10% 20% swollen nitrile rubber matrices were developed. Different amounts carbon nanotubes (CNTs) incorporated into the matrices. The effects swelling behaviors introduced CNTs on mechanical properties investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. simulation results show that compared to nitrile‐butadiene (NBR) models, elastic moduli tensile strengths reduced by ~31.72% 20.10% (at a ratio 10%) 68.28% 36.82% 20%), respectively. Compared those NBR...

Abstract In this study, three-layer molecular models of frictional pair containing nitrile-butadiene rubber matrix reinforced by nano-ZnO particle as the core and Fe layers counterparts are first developed. Molecular dynamics simulations then conducted to explore enhanced effects on tribological behaviors NBR matrix. The simulation results show that coefficient can be efficiently reduced approximately 30% incorporation particle. order reveal atomic inherent mechanisms effects, radius...

Abstract Hydroxylic fluoropolyacrylates were prepared by solution copolymerization of styrene (St), 2‐hydroxypropyl acrylate (2‐HPA), butyl (BA) and fluoroacrylate under various compositions. They further cured with hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI) to obtain hydrophobic coatings ambient condition. The curing reaction was identified differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) gel content analysis. properties, especially the anti‐frosting performance, measured. results indicated that property...

The use of ejectors is one the most promising methods to improve performance transcritical CO2 heat pump systems. However, in this experimental study, system with ejector (TCHSE) found be inferior conventional (TCHS) coefficient (COP) when hot water outlet temperature higher than a certain value. Thus, heater might not beneficial under some working conditions. In paper, off-design characteristics systems are analysed. Experimental investigations and assessments on TCHS TCHSE conditions also...
