The platform consists of three modules, which are pre-configured bioinformatic pipelines, cloud toolsets, and online omics' courses. pipelines not only combine analytic tools for metagenomics, genomes, transcriptome, proteomics metabolomics, but also provide users with powerful convenient interactive analysis reports, allow them to analyze mine data independently. As a useful supplement the bioinformatics wide range toolsets can further meet needs daily biological processing, statistics,...
The mangrove ecosystem is a largely unexplored source for actinomycetes with the potential to produce biologically active secondary metabolites. Consequently, we set out isolate, characterize and screen from soil plant material collected eight sites in China. Over 2,000 were isolated of these approximately 20%, 5%, 10% inhibited growth Human Colon Tumor 116 cells, Candida albicans Staphylococcus aureus, respectively, while 3% protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B), related diabetes. In...
A SERS based biosensor has been developed for isolation, detection and killing of multiple bacterial pathogens.
This review covers all fungal terpenoid cyclases (TCs), including class I and II TCs as well emerging UbiA-type TCs, together with their tailoring enzymes, focusing on newly identified enzymes from 2015 to August 2023.
Majorbio Cloud (https://cloud.majorbio.com/) is a one-stop online analytic platform aiming at promoting the development of bioinformatics services, narrowing gap between wet and dry experiments, accelerating discoveries for life sciences community. In 2024, three single-omics workflows, two multiomics extensions were newly released to facilitate omics data mining interpretation.
Fifteen new dicaffeoylspermidine derivatives, lycibarbarspermidines A–O (1–15), were isolated from the fruit of Lycium barbarum (wolfberry). The structures unambiguously determined by spectroscopic analyses and chemical methods. Dicaffeoylspermidine a rare kind plant secondary metabolites, are primarily distributed in family Solanaceae. Only six compounds structurally identified, all them acyclic aglycones. Compounds 1–15 first glycosidic products 14–15 cyclization derivatives. Moreover,...
Dysidavarones A–D (1–4), four new sesquiterpene quinones possessing the unprecedented "dysidavarane" carbon skeleton, were isolated from South China Sea sponge Dysidea avara. The structures established by spectroscopic methods, and absolute configurations determined using quantum mechanical calculation of electronic circular dichroic (ECD) spectrum exciton chirality CD method. Their cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell lines PTP1B inhibitory also evaluated.
Fusidane-type antibiotics represented by helvolic acid, fusidic acid and cephalosporin P1 are a class of bacteriostatic agents, which have drawn renewed attention because they no cross-resistance to commonly used antibiotics. However, their biosynthesis is poorly understood. Here, we perform stepwise introduction the nine genes from proposed gene cluster for into Aspergillus oryzae NSAR1, enables us isolate (~20 mg L-1) its 21 derivatives. Anti-Staphylococcus aureus assay reveals that...
Filamentous fungi represent an invaluable source of pharmaceutically active compounds. The development versatile methods to genetically manipulate filamentous is great value for improving the low yields bioactive metabolites and expanding chemical diversity. CRISPR-Cas9-based system has become a common platform genome editing in variety organisms. However, recent application this technology limited model strains, method efficient gene disruption different lacking. Here, we investigated...
Dimericbiscognienyne A (1), an unusual diisoprenyl-cyclohexene-type meroterpenoid dimer, was isolated from Biscogniauxia sp. together with three new monomeric meroterpenoids (2-4) and one isoprenyl-benzoic acid-type (5). All structures were determined by extensive NMR spectroscopic methods, quantum chemical calculations, derivatization, X-ray crystallography. The formation of 1 is related to a unique intermolecular redox coupling Diels-Alder adduct reaction. Their cytotoxicities short-term...
Abstract LL‐Z1272β ( 1 ) is a prenylated aryl‐aldehyde produced by several fungi; it also serves as key pathway intermediate for many fungal meroterpenoids. Despite its importance in the biosynthesis of natural products, molecular basis has yet to be elucidated. Here we identified biosynthetic gene cluster from Stachybotrys bisbyi PYH05‐7, and elucidated route . The involves polyketide synthase, prenyltransferase, nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS)‐like enzyme, which responsible...
Abstract Increasing numbers of studies have confirmed that long noncoding RNA (lnc ) play a critical role in epithelial ovarian cancer ( EOC progression. However, the potential function lnc tumor protein translationally controlled 1 TPT 1) antisense 1‐ AS is unclear. In this study, we aimed to uncover biological roles and regulatory mechanisms progression metastasis. First, expression was significantly higher metastatic tissue cell lines than their respective control counterparts. addition,...

Importance
A higher incidence of pancreatic cancer has been reported in the Chinese population compared with White population, but genetic differences are unknown to date. Large-sample germline testing for both familial and sporadic cancers conducted predominantly populations, whereas similar studies populations limited.
Objective
To assess prevalence sequence variations patients diseases China.
Design, Setting, Participants
This association study was a case series...
Six new steroidal saponins, solanigrosides C−H (2−7), and one known saponin, degalactotigonin (1), were isolated from the whole plant of Solanum nigrum. Their chemical structures elucidated using spectroscopic analysis, degradation, derivatization. All seven compounds tested for their cytotoxicity four human tumor cell lines (HepG2, NCI-H460, MCF-7, SF-268). Only compound 1 was cytotoxic, with IC50 values 0.25−4.49 μM.
