Preparation of low resistance indium tin oxide (ITO) films on large scale glass substrate has been studied for architectural applications. Coatings were carried out by a plasma enhanced deposition technique using sintered ITO pellets as the starting material and high rate more than 4000 Å/min was achieved. Scanning tunneling microscopy observation revealed that surface morphology thick (about 1 μm) film strongly dependent temperature. Crystallinity electrical properties also temperature...
Abstract The relationship between various mechanical properties of evaporated indium tin oxide (ITO) films has been investigated. hardness and internal stress were found to be correlated. This correlation can expressed as a linear expression similar that reported for bulk material. strength adhesion the substrate was observed related stress. also could well interpreted quantitatively by assuming stored elastic energy in ITO constant during peeling. coefficient kinetic friction not any...
Abstract A model for representing polymer devolatilization behavior in a screw extruder with multi-vent sections has been proposed. In this model, an overall film-interface geometry factor (OFIGF) comprised of several local factors (LFIGF) is used as measure the devolatilizing performance extruder. Moreover, OFIGF related to geometries and open angles areas vent sections, dependent on degree filling or flowrate fluid speed. An intermeshing co-rotation twin-screw popularly was taken example...
Abstract The pumping characteristics of several types screw elements for an intermeshing co-rotating twin extruder (ICoTSE) were experimentally studied using molten polystyrene (PS) as a typical non-Newtonian fluid in “LABOTEX30α”. Here, the throughput was regarded remainder drag flow minus pressure flow, based on previous theoretical and experimental studies with regard to either single or twin-screw extruders. Therefore, relationship between gradient given geometry approximately expressed...
In vertical integration literature, the two processes leading to integration, namely, (1) self-expansion of scope activities based on internal capabilities and (2) internalization with external have not been distinguished. However, using or incorporating is an alternative decision for managers distinguishing them crucial in practice. The purpose this study distinguish separated from explain systematically when they likely occur. This develops a unique model by integrating transaction cost...
For the chemical recycling of poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) component in fire-resistant polymer alloys used for electric/electronic equipments, effects Al(OH)3 added as a flame retardant on thermal depolymerization PLLA were evaluated. As result examining conversion from PLLA/PP/Al(OH)3 [14/56/30(wt/wt/wt)] compounds to lactide monomer, L, L-lactide purity 90% was achieved under recovery ratio about 90%. Furthermore, combination and MgO accelerated synergetic catalyst generate L-lactide. This...
Abstract In this study, we have mainly discussed the dewatering and devolatilizing extrusion behavior of synthetic elastomers using intermeshed twin screw extruders. For these purposes, utilized various extruders with long segmented barrels having several slitted sections venting ports. Furthermore, selected optimum operational conditions either co- or counter-rotation extruder depending on experimental purposes raw materials. Some results obtained were compared between extruder.
An experimental study on the devolatilizing performances of screw elements with different geometries in an intermeshing co-rotating twin-screw extruder (ICoTSE) was conducted using a polystyrene/ethylbenzene (PS/EB) system. The devolatilization (DV) data and literature obtained same type ICoTSE diameter for PS/EB system are correlated by proposed model, where effect differences geometries, diameters, degree filling, fully-filled length channels as well changes operating temperature caused...
The machine of dechlorination using twin screw system and a process have developed for removing from wasted plastics including chloridized polymer. In this paper, we describe summary extruder. characteristics results experiment the dechlorination. The residual chlorine content general after decWorinating achieved 0.25wt% under 350°C, resident time 10 minutes. And reduced 0.6wt% 350°C comparing to 310°C, same time. 0.14 wt% 13.3 minutes 6.6 minutes, temperature, but saturated it in 0.24...
In this paper, the leakage current and charge accumulation characteristics of epoxy resin at high temperature under electric stress were investigated. Generally, ceramic materials are used for insulating substrate power modules, but they being replaced by resin-based substrates to reduce cost improve a heat cycle resistance. polymeric such as resin, dielectric breakdown occurs due increased distortion internal field caused space when DC voltage is applied long time temperature. Therefore, it...
A visual study on the pumping characteristics of screw elements for an intermeshing co-rotating twin-screw extruder was conducted by using polystyrene melt as a classic non-Newtonian fluid. Here output regarded sum drag flow and pressure based previous theoretical experimental studies single extruders. Therefore relationship between gradient given geometry approximately expressed linear dimensionless form which contains two constants, so-called pumping-characteristic parameters related to...
