Spermidine (SPD) delays age-related pathologies in various organisms. SPD supplementation overcame the impaired immunotherapy against tumors aged mice by increasing mitochondrial function and activating CD8+ T cells. Treatment of naïve cells with acutely enhanced fatty acid oxidation. conjugated to beads bound trifunctional protein (MTP). In MTP complex, synthesized purified from Escherichia coli, α β subunits strong affinity allosterically their enzymatic activities. cell-specific deletion...
<title>Abstract</title> Glycolysis and mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation (FAO) regulate CD8+ T cell differentiation fate. However, how glycolysis FAO balance are associated with T-cell exhaustion remains unknown. PD-1 signal inhibits enhances FAO. We find that cells in the tumors adhered to attenuated despite high expression, which was defined as “metabolic exhaustion.” Active aldehydes, final products of lipid peroxidation, accumulate proportion their depth mouse human tumor tissues....
