Crystalline Lu(2)O(3):Eu(3+) nanolayers with a europium content from 1 to 10 at.% were immobilized onto amorphous SiO(2) submicrospheres by sol-gel technique, forming monodisperse SiO(2)/Lu(2)O(3):Eu(3+) core-shell structured nanophosphors. The nanostructure, morphology and composition of the particles obtained investigated transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS), photoelectron (XPS), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) diffraction (XRD) techniques....
Abstract Influence of carbon contamination from the paper and dies on structural-phase state transparency were studied for SiO 2 -doped Nd 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 ceramics obtained via reactive spark plasma sintering (SPS). It is shown that post-annealed sensitive to SPS temperature. Since swelling effect related amount phases as well their composition depth location, degradation becomes remarkable with temperature increasing above critical system. Ceramics fabricated at 1500°C contains SiC...
Photochemical reactions at the solid surface can be applied for microstructuring. processes have high anisotropy and don't produce radiation defects in layers of materials, providing certain advantages compared to ion, plasma X-ray technologies. At moment most photoexcitation sources use visible near UV photon range. The increasing energy up VUV by synchrotron (SR) or other source leads diminishing microstructure size 100 nm rising quantum efficiency reaction. In this work photochemical...
The changes in the structure of x-ray photoelectron spectra from surface La2CuO4 samples are investigated for different degrees doping with strontium and scandium after mechanical purification heating vacuum, as well under ion x irradiation. core shells elements constituting is identified. It shown that existence copper mixed valence state essential emergence high-temperature superconductivity cuprates, ratio contributions Cu+ Cu2+ states to electron compounds must be quite definite.
