The aircraft arrival sequencing and scheduling (ASS) problem is a salient in airports' runway system, which proves to be nondeterministic polynomial (NP) hard. This paper formulates the ASS form of constrained permutation designs new approximation algorithm solve it. Then numerical study conducted, validates that this has much better performance than ant colony (AC) CPLEX, especially when types are not too many. In end, some conclusions summarized.
