Abstract Lake Urmia basin (LUB), in northwestern Iran, is under the influence of extreme degradation due to a number natural and anthropogenic factors. The existence critical for microclimate region as well quality human life wildlife, which necessitates an up‐to‐date holistic analysis its hydrological dynamics. In this premise, satellite‐based terrestrial water storage (TWS) received from Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE) mission was coupled with hydrometeorological modelling...
Abstract The gravity recovery and climate experiment (GRACE) observations have so far been utilized to detect trace the variations of hydrological extremes worldwide. However, applying coarse resolution GRACE estimates for local‐scale analysis remains a big challenge. In this study, new version fine (1 km) Famine early warning systems network Land Data Assimilation System (FLDAS) model data was integrated into machine learning along with evaluate subbasin‐scale water storage, drought. With...
Abstract The mass loss of the Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS) has profound impacts on sea levels, water cycle, and global climate variability. Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE) its follow‐on mission (GRACE‐FO) provide accurate but limited spatial resolution observations GrIS changes. Therefore, we developed a novel multi‐time scale weighted forward modeling (WFM) approach that combines GRACE(‐FO) with satellite altimetry data to improve change estimations in at high‐resolution (25 km ×...
Abstract The evaluation of irrigation water efficiency plays an important role in the efficient use agricultural resources and sustainable development agriculture. In order to make indicators more comprehensive scientific, this paper constructs a new optimal model indicators. By combining Driver-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) with Information Significance Difference (ISD) model, novel DPSIR-ISD combination was constructed. Ten riverside areas Sanjiang Plain northeastern China were...
Abstract Sample entropy can be used to investigate the complexity of precipitation series. However, randomness similar tolerance selection may lead inaccurate results. To solve this problem, distinction degree theory was introduced optimize sample entropy, and a specific reference frame for optimization process provided. The optimized study spatial differences in possible causes from perspective monthly (MP) extreme daily (EDP) Heilongjiang Province, China. results demonstrated that MP EDP...
Abstract Affected by climate change and high‐intensity human activities, the precipitation series is characterized nonlinear complex fluctuations. In order to accurately quantify complexity, complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) method was introduced address shortcomings of traditional multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis (MFDFA), CEEMDAN‐MFFA proposed explore spatiotemporal variability possible causes complexity in Northeast China (NEC). The...
Groundwater storage and depletion fluctuations in response to groundwater availability for irrigation require understanding on a local scale ensure reliable supply. However, the coarser spatial resolution and intermittent data gaps estimate regional storage anomalies (GWSA) prevent Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE) GRACE Follow-On (GARCE-FO) mission from being applied at scale. To enhance of GWSA measurements using machine learning approaches, numerous recent efforts have...

ABSTRACT To accurately figure out how much pollution comes from urban surface runoff and take steps to protect receiving water, we needed fully understand road-deposited sediments (RDS) wash off. Our research indicates that particles smaller than 100 μm imparted 59–73% of the wash-off load. Two instances natural rainfall reduced aggregate RDS mass by approximately 27–36%. On days without rain, particle shrank in size, but it became heavier after a downpour. The results showed source...
