Abstract For the Adaptive Dropped Hinge Flap (ADHF), there exists a gap between spoiler and fixed wing when is deflected, which affects aerodynamic characteristics of airplane. Numerical simulations are conducted on multi-segment wings with deflected spoiler, focusing effects around airfoils deflection. The results show that drooped has significant influence lift drag, reducing line slope linear segment, decreasing maximum coefficient. Also, presence causes stall angle attack to decrease....
