We introduce an anatomic reconstruction technique for the medial patellofemoral ligament using a free hamstring autograft in skeletally immature patients. dock 2 ends of graft superior-medial patella sockets and secure femoral attachment socket tunnel distal to physis. This minimizes risk injury growth plate still enables accurate successful positioning autograft.

Here, we describe ossification in children including secondary center.Twenty anteroposterior (AP) mortise x-rays each sex age from 4 12 were randomly selected skeletally immature patients identified at our institution. X-rays excluded if there was cast or splint, fracture, hardware, obvious tibial deformity. Each x-ray evaluated categorized 4-part...

BACKGROUND: An increasing body of evidence demonstrates an association between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and adverse perioperative outcomes. However, large-scale data on open colectomies are lacking. Moreover, the interaction obesity with OSA is unknown. This study examines impact OSA, obesity, or a combination both, complications in patients undergoing colectomy. We hypothesized that while both individually increase likelihood for complications, overlap 2 conditions associated highest...
