Abstract Nanosized Bi 2 WO 6 was synthesized by a mild hydrothermal crystallization process. This method allowed obtaining plate‐like crystallites of very small thickness (down to 3 nm). The effect particle size on the structure and properties studied X‐ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy, Raman infrared spectroscopies. It has been shown that orthorhombic distortion decreases with decreasing size, but smallest is still orthorhombic. studies have also revealed strong...

Pure and silver doped nanoparticles of titanium dioxide (TiO2) was prepared using novel, modified sol–gel method. The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption measurement, atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), UV–vis (UV–vis). antibacterial activity the indicated minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) bactericidal (MBC) values according to reference methods Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute for determination MIC aerobic bacteria...

Most of the synthesis routes lanthanide-doped phosphors involve thermal processing which results in nanocrystallite growth, stabilization crystal structure and augmentation luminescence intensity. It is great interest to be able transform sample a spatially localized manner, may lead many applications like 2D 3D data storage, anti-counterfeiting protection, novel design bio-sensors and, potentially, fabrication metamaterials, photonic crystals or plasmonic devices. Here we demonstrate...
