Background: Searching for studies to include in a systematic review (SR) is time- and labor-intensive process with searches of multiple databases recommended. To reduce the time spent translating search strings across databases, tool called Polyglot Search Translator (PST) was developed. The authors evaluated whether using PST as translation aid reduces required translate without increasing errors. Methods: In randomized trial, twenty participants were randomly allocated ten database then...

We have investigated the magnetization dynamics of sputtered Co40Fe40B20 thin films in a wide range thicknesses used as free layers MgO-based magnetic tunnel junctions, with technique broadband ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). observed large interface-induced perpendicular anisotropy film limit. The out-of-plane angular dependence FMR measurement revealed contributions two different damping mechanisms thick and limits. In thinner (< 2 nm), two-magnon scattering inhomogeneous broadening...

Memory consolidation has been proposed as a function of sleep. However, sleep is complex phenomenon characterized by several features including duration, intensity, and continuity. Sleep continuity disrupted in different neurological psychiatric conditions, many which are accompanied memory deficits. This finding raised the question whether important for consolidation. current techniques used research cannot manipulate single feature while maintaining others constant. Here, we introduce use...

To describe the algorithm and investigate efficacy of a novel systematic review automation tool "the Deduplicator" to remove duplicate records from multi-database search. We constructed tested Deduplicator by using 10 previous Cochrane search results compare Deduplicator's 'balanced' semi-manual EndNote method. Two researchers each performed deduplication on libraries results. For five those libraries, one researcher used Deduplicator, while other with EndNote. They then switched methods for...

We have demonstrated the detection of 2.5μM target DNA labeled with 16nm Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) and 50nm commercial MACS™ NPs using arrays magnetic tunnel junction sensors (001)-oriented MgO barrier layers. Signal-to-noise ratios 25 12 were obtained NPs, respectively. These data show conclusively that MgO-based MTJ sensor are very promising candidates for future applications involving accurate identification biomolecules tagged nanoparticles.

Bibliographic databases are the primary resource for identifying systematic reviews of health care interventions. Reliable retrieval depends on scope indexing used by database providers. Therefore, searching one may be insufficient, but it is unclear how many need to searched. We sought evaluate performance seven major bibliographic identification hypertension. searched (Cochrane library, Database Abstracts Reviews Effects (DARE), Excerpta Medica (EMBASE), Epistemonikos, Medical Literature...

We map the magnetic field sensitivity and low-frequency 1∕f voltage noise of high magnetoresistance MgO-based tunnel junctions in an orthogonal arrangement. Large values over 1%/Oe are obtained only when a sufficiently large hard-axis bias is applied. The observed to scale with sensitivity. reveals that signal-to-noise ratios these devices get gradually better at higher fields.

Low frequency voltage noise was measured in highly sensitive magnetic tunnel junctions with MgO barrier. The is observed to scale linearly the field sensitivity. Fluctuations noise, possibly due local domain nucleation or annihilation inside free layer, are also observed. Results indicate that an external hard-axis bias can significantly suppress magnetization fluctuations of layer and lower noise.

We have investigated the magnetic and transport behavior of MgO based tunnel junctions incorporating ${\text{Co}}_{40}{\text{Fe}}_{40}{\text{B}}_{20}$ free layers with thicknesses in vicinity $15\text{ }\text{\AA{}}$. The response layer changes rapidly as its thickness decreases. Linear hysteresis-free switching is obtained when CoFeB thinner than a critical $\ensuremath{\sim}15\text{ tunneling magnetoresistance hysteresis properties change abruptly around thickness. analyzed transfer curves...

Thermal stability, sensitivity, and noise of micron-scale magnetic tunnel junctions based on MgO barriers have been studied for both the memory sensing configurations. Junctions show solid high-temperature performance with substantial magnetoresistance observed even at 500°C. At temperatures above 375°C, begin to experience irreversible degradation due interlayer diffusion. The thermal stability these devices depends strongly exchange bias device hence properties antiferromagnetic layer....
