Revealing the response of soil bacterial community to external environmental disturbances is an important but poorly understood topic in microbial ecology. In this study, we evaluated effect high salinity on composition and key biogeochemical processes salinized agricultural soils (0.22 19.98 dS m −1 ).
Abstract The current study investigated the effect of biochars derived from cinnamomum woodchip, garden waste and mulberry woodchip on soil phytoavailable lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) pools, their uptake by Chinese cabbage ( Brassica chinensis L.). were produced at 450 °C pyrolysis temperature. contaminated soils collected Yunfu (classified as Udept), Jiyuan (Ustalf) Shaoguan (Udult) cities in China depth 0–20 cm amended with rate 3% w/w. After mixing biochar for 14 days, was planted soils. Then,...
Noncovalent interactions of 4 selected phenolic acids, including gallic acid (GA), caffeic (CA), chlorogenic (CGA), and rosmarinic (RA) with lactoferrin (LF) were investigated. Compound combined LF in the binding constant CA > GA RA CGA, driven by van der Waals hydrogen bonding for GA, hydrophobic forces others. Conformation was affected at secondary ternary structure levels. Molecular docking indicated that located same site near iron C-lobe, whereas CGA bound to C2 N-lobe, respectively....
Three successive vegetable pot experiments were conducted to assess the effects on long-term immobilization of heavy metals in soil and crop yield improvement after addition peanut shell biochar an alkaline mineral acidic contaminated with lead cadmium. Compared CK treatment, change rates biomass edible parts three types vegetables treated B0.3, B1, B3, B9, R0.2 B1R0.2 -15.43%~123.30%, 35.10%~269.09%, 40.77%~929.31%, -26.08%~711.99%, 44.14%~1067.12% 53.09%~1139.06%, respectively. The cadmium...
To overcome challenges associated with crop species identification in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery—specifically missed detections of small-sized targets, disturbances caused by intricate environmental elements, and suboptimal computational efficiency detection models—this study introduces a streamlined framework that integrates YOLOv9 Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) Spatial Channel Reconstruction Convolution (SCConv). Initial modifications involve embedding CBAM within...
A pot experiment was conducted using different ratios of triple superphosphate (TSP) to pig manure (PM) determine the best ratio for combining inorganic and organic fertilisers attain optimum crop yields, investigate mechanisms affecting P availability in a wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)–soybean (Glycine max L.) rotation eastern China. The TSP/PM treatment used were: T1, 0/0 as control; T2, 100/0; T3, 90/10; T4, 80/20; T5, 70/30; T6, 0/100. All treatments except T1 received same amount P....
In order to achieve the goal of circular economy and sustainable development ecological environment, it is important separate recover associated elements from rare mineral resources. Compared with traditional physical chemical remediation methods contaminated soil, phytoremediation regarded as most promising green in-situ restoration technology. The purpose this review effectively alleviate environmental problems caused by tailings soil through realize recovery uranium-thorium, earth (REEs)...
During a Cooperation Centre for Scientific Research Relative to Tobacco (CORESTA) meeting, the in vitro toxicity testing Sub-Group (IVT SG) met discuss evolving field of aerosol exposure research. Given diversity parameters and biological endpoints being used, it was considered high priority investigate contextualise responses obtained. This is particularly driven by inability compare between studies on different systems due user preferences protocol differences. Twelve global tobacco...
Abstract This study clarified the herbicidal activity, crop safety, classification status, and infection process of strain HY‐02, laid a foundation for its development utilization. Strain HY‐02 was isolated from leaves Rumex patientia L. by tissue isolation method. The pathogenicity to six broadleaf weeds safety four common crops were determined spray inoculation. taxonomic status morphology molecular biology, confirmed scanning electron microscopy. In vitro leaf experiments showed that...
Abstract Exploration of the genes controlling seed weight is critical to improve crop yield and understand mechanisms underlying formation in rapeseed ( Brassica napus L.). We previously identified quantitative trait locus (QTL) qSW.C9 , for thousand-seed (TSW) trait, a double haploid population constructed from F 1 hybrids between parental accessions HZ396 Y106. Here, we confirmed phenotypic effects associated with BC 3 2 populations fine-mapped candidate causal 266-kb interval. Sequence...
