The first example of a triply cyclometalated homopolynuclear tri-Ir(III) complex with additional carbene donors is presented. Cooperative catalysis and the interplay between homogenous heterogeneous catalyses are discussed for related non-cyclometalated tri-Pd(II) complex.

Abstract Complexes of mesoionic carbene (MIC) ligands are gaining immense popularity in organometallic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis. We present here a series palladium(II) complexes that comprised MIC donor ligands, we demonstrate their applications α‐arylation, α‐methylation, Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions. All the have been structurally characterized by X‐ray crystallographic analysis. These potent precatalysts they deliver good to excellent yields for both α‐arylation A complex...

ABSTRACT Farmworkers face a variety of risk factors for eye injuries. Measures protection use and safety knowledge beliefs are based on survey 300 Latino farmworkers in North Carolina. Few report using (8.3%); most (92.3%) that employers do not provide protection. Approximately 70% they trained preventing injuries; 81% believe their chances getting an injury low. Many choose to take risks order save time. Interventions needed target farmworker about safety.

The existence of preferred molecular scaffolds that possess inherent biological activity, called privileged structures, is now well recognized. Such structures not only provide enhanced drug-like properties but also give new hits for developing leads. synthesis combinatorial libraries, especially with the insertion substructures into heterocyclic moieties containing nitrogen, provides a greater probability discovery novel lead compounds using chemical transformation. review focuses on...

Skin diseases are common among farmworkers, yet little research documents their prevalence and risk factors. This analysis the of skin farmworkers in North Carolina, examines variation across agricultural season, delineates factors associated with disease. Data from a longitudinal surveillance study assessments at approximately three-week intervals May through October 2005. The sample included 304 45 camps 1048 data points. collection structured interview standard set ten digital...

Abstract magnified image A diisopropylcarbodiimide (DIC) mediated small library of thiazolidin‐4‐one and 1,3‐Thiazinan‐4‐one derivatives were efficiently synthesized using one pot three component condensation amino acid, aldehyde, mercapto carboxylic acid on a polymer support. The study shows significantly higher yields the thereby indicating lower dependence nature aldehyde components. As an obvious extension this protocol, reactions performed heterocyclic aldehydes substituted hindered...

In an effort to develop potent antithrombotic agents, a series of novel 2-aminobenzamide derivatives were synthesized and screened for their in vivo activity. Among the 23 compounds tested, compound (8g) showed most promising activity, which was comparable with clinically used aspirin or warfarin, but at variance these standard drugs, 8g did not exhibit increased bleeding time, suggesting its potential as agent.

N,N′-Diisopropylcarbodiimide (DIC) is a liquid carbodiimide used in peptide synthesis and contains the functional group RN=C=NR. Carbodiimides hydrolyze to form ureas, which makes them uncommon nature. Between different sources of coupling reagents synthesis, use DIC as more convenient. By using one can avoid tedious removal dicyclohexylurea (DCU) formed during dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC),[ 1 ] diisopropylurea (DIU) comparatively easy remove at time purification, after generation bond....
