Abstract This article presents a novel filtering quasi‐Yagi antenna with ultra‐wide passband and stopband. By employing an antipodal connection between the dipole arms feedline, profitable modes of can be excited controlled to produce wide operating band. Without increasing size, elaborately arranged parasitic elements band‐stop element realize filter‐like response sharp roll‐off rates high out‐of‐band suppression levels.
