This study examined the capacitive properties of hierarchical porous carbon materials in form flowers, which were produced through optimized thermal treatment synthesized particles polyacrylonitrile (PAN) polymer. The results show that retain their original morphological shape after carbonization and activation, along with a high specific surface area significant content nitrogen functional groups. Thanks to these properties, exhibit capacitance up 100 F g-1 6 M potassium hydroxide aqueous...

We herein report a simple two-step procedure for fabricating tetragonal CoMn2O4 spinel nanocrystals on carbon fibers. The battery-type behavior of these composite fibers arises from the redox activity in an alkaline aqueous solution, which, combination with fibers, endows good electrochemical performance and long-term stability. C@CoMn2O4 electrode exhibited high specific capacity, up to 62 mA h g-1 at 1 A capacity retention around 90% after 4000 cycles. symmetrical coin-cell device...

Activated carbons with high specific surface area (even above 2000 m2 g−1) and pronounced microporosity are prepared in two-stage process involving conventional carbonization of waste hemp fibers subsequent activation by potassium hydroxide. Samples considerably different intrinsic micro- mesoporous properties obtained at conditions. The improvements the capacitive found upon increase temperature, since it influenced content oxygen groups. Cyclic voltammetry experiments reveal dependence...
