Adaptive radiation therapy is a closed-loop treatment process where the plan can be modified using systematic feedback of measurements. intends to improve by systematically monitoring variations and incorporating them re-optimize early on during course treatment. In this process, field margin dose routinely customized each individual patient achieve safe escalation.
In this paper a stochastic search method is proposed for finding global solution to the discrete optimization problem in which objective function must be estimated by Monte Carlo simulation. Although there are many practical problems of type fields manufacturing engineering, operations research, and management science, have not been any nonheuristic methods such with infrastructure. The very simple, yet it finds optimum solution. exploits randomness simulation generates sequence estimates....
Moderate deep inspiration breath-hold (mDIBH), using an Active Breathing Control device, has been used in our clinic since 2002 to reduce cardiac dose for patients receiving left-sided breast irradiation. We report routine use of the mDIBH technique clinically localized cancer, treated intact breast, reconstructed or chest wall.
Clinical implementation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-only radiotherapy requires a method to derive synthetic CT image (S-CT) for dose calculation. This study investigated the feasibility building deep convolutional neural network MRI-based S-CT generation and evaluated dosimetric accuracy on prostate IMRT planning.A paired T2-weighted MR images were acquired from each 51 cancer patients. Fifteen pairs randomly chosen as tested set remaining 36 training set. The subjects augmented by...
