Utilizing the 3,567 A-share listed companies, this paper evaluates whether Sino-US trade friction identified by 301 tariff list impacts Chinese stock market. We find that has a negative impact on price in financial market applying difference-in-differences strategy. This result is robust after carrying out several robustness checks. Lastly, do mechanism analysis focusing different effects types, geographical locations, and financing constraints maybe affect performance.
